Although I've only just read this for the first time, this is the book on preaching the Holy Spirit has written on my heart.  The short version is that the job of the preacher in the pulpit is not to entertain or even teach but to glorify a majestic God in such a way that the congregation is awed at nothing but the surpassing awesomeness of God and in return to worship this same God because of His immense nature. Whether this sounds like something you already understand about preaching or not, the book is worth reading as an encouragement toward Biblical preaching. My only gripe is that B&N has an older version for $2...so, I'm not overly pleased to spend over $10 for 95 pages.  Still, I'd rather own a copy than not.
