They're finally together. But the Universe seems intent on tearing them apart…
Rory Clarke might not be Lucah Blythe's boss anymore, but that doesn't mean they can sneak off to the boardroom for hot sex whenever they want. Keeping their hands off each other in the workplace is harder than they could have imagined, and that's not the only obstacle they have to deal with. Between Lucah's troublesome brother Ryder, and Rory's bff Sloane's inability to understand locked doors, they're drowning in drama.
But it's only about to get a lot worse when a blast from Lucah's past surfaces, and chaos at Clarke Enterprises threatens to take away everything Rory has worked so hard for. Can the couple weather the storm and surrender to each other, or will the challenges of staying together destroy their relationship for good?

Received An ARC in exchange for an honest review 3.5 stars I loved the fast pace and sexually charged of the charts attraction you had in Sweet Surrendering so i was looking forward to reading this and getting back into the relationship between Lucah & Rory and all her friends. I must admit, it was a little slower paced, I took a couple chapters to get going, but enjoyed it once i did. it was a good installment, easy to read, like dropping in on your fav friends and catching up. The chemistry between Lucah and Rory is still HOT, they can't keep their hands off each other, there were some lol moments and bringing his Brother Ryder into the story added Drama and banter...it was great for the story, and Sloane!! and i can not wait for Ryder & Sloane's story which is coming in January..... There is an ex who rocks up in the office, bringing jealousy into the mix, a new assistant and fallout from the last book at the office still going on which threatens Rory & her father's future at the company... I am hoping and praying that we have more from Lucah & Rory though as i feel that their story is NOT finished, the office drama is not finished. There is a lot of back story i need to know the answers too ;-) I am not above begging!
Loved the first book, this one not so much.
My rating: 4 of 5 stars Surrendering to Us by Chelsea M. Cameron is the second book in her Surrender Saga. A novel full of hot and steamy, corporate intrigue, mystery and drama. Continuing the story of Rory and Lucah, we pick up where we left them. Lucah now works for a different department so Rory is no longer his boss, but they're still keeping their relationship quiet as they still work at the same corporation. Rory and lucah now have to test their relationship on the trials of the outside world. Lucah's younger brother needs his help and a blast from his past shows up at work. Let's sit back and see how they handle the obstacles life throws at them. Filled with humor and angst, oh and did I mention some steamy times? Any fan of contemporary romance should definitely give this author and series a go.
