I really enjoyed this book. Meggie's writing always inspires me to pick up the pen and paper and do some writing of my own. Exceptional work can always be found with her.

I am only a few poems in, but had to leave a review. I thought to myself when I got it in the mail, the book is a little thin. But I judged it by its cover, and shamefully so. There are diamonds inside, and this book is worth quintuple its weight in gold. And if you've looked at the gold market lately, that's quite a bit.

Meggie Royer is a woman who clearly understands what it is like to live with mental illness, abuse, and displacement from society. She uses her experience to write and let people know that they are not alone. This book is for anyone who is struggling to accept, comprehend, and hopefully heal.
