This is just not that good. It's totally cliche. I'm tired of gay writers writing victimized characters that fall in love with jocks who they promptly elevate to god-like status. Nick is an awful character yet because he is hot and is good in bed we are to be convinced that he is the perfect boyfriend for John. Also - the conflict in this story is so unbelievable. This is NOT how high school works. For starters - ELITE HIGH? Seriously? This is the name of the school? The first book was rather ok. It was over the top, but ok. This book is just plain awful. No one acts the way these characters do. Minors renting an apartment? A female friend bringing over a suitcase full of sex toys? UGH! I'm glad I got the eBook.
