Aweosme read!  I was really touched by this book.  I also had a sister who struggled with drugs and alcohol and mental illness and I really identified with Melanie.  I wish I had more to read as the book is short and I wish I knew more about her love life after the book finishes.  Overall I have to say this was a great book that I would recommend to anyone!

I was pleasantly surprised by Melanie's debut book.  It is not often that a first time book author can put together such a concise and fluid memoir that is filled with emotion while being funny and tragic.  For anyone who is looking for a good read that reminds us how fragile life is and how important family is to our success, then this is the book for you.

A griping tale about addiction and family that had me glued to the ipad till I was done. Melanie really lays it all out there and delivers a wonderful story. Good for her for taking risks and following her heart. I would recommend this to anyone. @melanieberliet thank you!

Despite the dark material (death, alcoholism, etc.), I was hopeful and energized after finishing this.  For anyone who has lost a sister, this is book that will give you great hope that you can turn a hardship and death into something beautiful.

This book might be great if I could actually read it. I have an older version of the nook, and when I downloaded it, it said that this book format was not supported. I couldn't read it online in my nook library either. Barnes & Noble needs to be more clear about which devices this book can be purchased on. They provided the information, but it was not easily accessible. I am quite annoyed.

Melanie Berliet's book is so poignant, funny and insightful. The reader is allowed into her most intimate family world of her sister's issues with addiction. Ms. Berliet managed to share the darkest point in her life, yet left the reader with a smile on their face... knowing that she would land on her own two feet again...or at least on a table as a sushi model. Thank you again for taking us on your journey!
