Sweet Disaster (The Sweetest Thing Book 4) by Sierra Hill 4 Stars Although this is the 4th book in this series it can be read as a standalone, which is what I did since this was my first book by this author. I will though be going back to read the first three. I really liked this book, the storyline was great and the characters very likeable. Kadence (Kady) is in Italy with her best friend, after dropping out of college. Problem is she is now stranded in Italy. Her backpack was stolen at a party and she lost her ID, passport, and what money she needed for her vacation. Her best friend has up and left her with some guy she met who is in a band and Kady has nowhere to turn but her brother back home. Problem is, no one in her family is aware that she is even in Italy. She has always considered herself the black sheep of the family, always being the troublemaker, where her brother and her twin sister have always done everything to make mom and dad proud. She's a disaster and she knows it and owns it. Gavin plays basketball overseas in Italy, has been there for 6 months and misses home terribly. He skipped college and went straight to the pros. His ultimate goal is to play for the NBA back home. He plays hard both on the court and off, so when he receives a phone call from a former college hoops star that played with his brother asking him to help out his little sister who was stranded in Italy with no money he felt obligated to say yes. When he first meets Kady he regrets his decision, he didn't know he was going to fall for her practically the first minute he meets her. Knowing she is off limits is going to make it hard to room with her for a few days. Besides the fact she is trouble, a complete disaster waiting to happen. He figures out quickly that she is a sweet disaster that he can't help but be drawn to. They spend time together getting closer knowing all along that once her mess is fixed she will be leaving to meet her best friend in Madrid. As the time comes for her to leave, neither one of them want to part ways but know it's what will happen. Everything changes for both of them right after they part, and misunderstandings keep them apart for too long. With everything happening in both of their lives can these two get back what they found together in Italy, or was this just a hookup that was never meant to be serious?
