But their attraction could not be denied.

When Rose finally managed to get the space for her Sweet Rose Ice Cream Shop and upstairs apartment...right across the street from Jason's shops, she made several discoveries...letters from the a former resident and a skeleton in the cellar.

Thrown into a mystery from years ago, it appears someone in town wants to keep secrets buried.

Language and scenes similar to what you would find in an R-rated movie.

Well written with both the mystery and romance. Strong characters that are likeable but complex, plenty of romance, and a number of sneaky little twists and turns. I very much enjoy when an author lets you play along with solving the mystery by feeding you little bits and pieces. I always enjoy visiting with our friends from the other books in the series.

This is book 10 in the Baytown Boys series and it features Rose and Jason. They were together once and she had to leave for a family emergency. Two years later, she’s back and neither has stopped thinking about the other their entire time apart. These two have amazing chemistry. It doesn’t feel like the “rip your clothes off” type but more of a deep pull to be with each other, like they are just meant to be. Rose has lots of ups and downs and has a lot of drama in her life. This story is sweet and sexy with a lot of amazing family and friends. I think the situation with Charlotte was way too easy. Even the climax felt too simple and quick but the rest of the romance was beautiful. I love watching the single guys find their better halves and join the ranks of the happily-in-a-relationship characters. Definitely looking forward to the next one.

I really enjoy this series and I loved this book. I thought Rose and Jason were adorable together. They have their sweet moments and they also have steamy chemistry. One of my favorite things in this book is Rose opening an ice cream shop. I loved that so hard even though it's bittersweet for Rose. There were a few moments in this book that had me tear up a bit. There is also a little mystery about what Rose finds in her cellar of her shop. A twist I didn't see coming. That kept me devouring the pages along with Rose and Jason's story. This is a book you shouldn't pass up because a story that will capture your heart.

I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book. Sweet Rose (Baytown Boys book 10) is perfect! I think this is my new favorite Baytown Boys Book. I have been waiting for Jason’s story. We got little bits and pieces of Jason’s character in the previous Baytown Boys books, so I knew that once Jason got his book it was going to be so good…that is putting it mildly. I absolutely loved Jason and Rose’s story. I will not give any spoilers, as I do not want to ruin it for you. Jason and Rose’s relationship started off…how to describe it...differently?...okay, we will go with that. Everything about them was so perfect and I was just swooning over Jason. Sweet Rose, Baytown Boys book 10 has everything you could ask for. It has drama and mystery, action, a wonderful love story, and let’s not forget about the HOT steamy sex scenes…like you are going to forget that! You will also learn that any plans you make for your future is never set in stone. It is a lesson the poor Rose learns over and over and over again. The character development was fantastic. I really love that the characters from the previous books are always included in every book. I confess I might even like Mayor Corbin Banks now! Maryann Jordan has definitely delivered another hit. Sweet Rose is a must read. I wonder if Joseph, the newest member of Baytown, will get his story told. I cannot wait to see what Maryann Jordan has in store for us next.

Sworn Worthy Story .I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Sweet Rose . This is another fantastic story in The Baytown Boys Series .The story is so beautifully written .I feel like I'm right there in Baytown with the gang . Rise came to Baytown she wants to open an Ice cream shop , after a sexual and very steamy night with Jason the new Garage / Tattoo shop owner . She is called home to an emergency with her parents . Jason is left wondering what happened . 3 years later Rose returns to finally open her Ice cream shop across the street from Jason . The chemistry is still there between them .While getting her shop up and running and dating Jason a few unexpected things happen . This story is interesting , Intriguing , there is suspense and some action . I really enjoyed this story . I highly recommend taking the time to read this story and enjoy . There is nothing like the Baytown stories .

We are back in Baytown, where boys left to join the military, and returned as honorable strong men. Along the way they have invited some of their military friends to live, heal and prosper in this idillic town. This time it’s Zac’s friend Jason who we get to spend time with. Jason is impressed with the town and it’s people and has decided to open a garage, and a small tattoo shop. Something that throws off the plans of the town’s new resident, Rose Parker. She was planning to open an ice cream shop. After a night together she leaves and when she comes back, the attraction is still very much alive. Upon her return , things not only heat up, but a body is found. Who is this person? How long have they been dead and why? In general the story was sweet with some mystery thrown in. It’s also a story about life. As the author reminds us “…life is change. Life happens. We reevaluate. We adapt. And we make new plans.” A very true statement. This was a sweet addition to the series and a chance to catch up with some of the characters of previous stories. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
