Return to the world of Clockwork Boys in an all new novel of sword, sorcery, and romance by T. Kingfisher!
Halla is a housekeeper who has suddenly inherited her great-uncle's estate... and, unfortunately, his relatives. Sarkis is an immortal swordsman trapped in a prison of enchanted steel. When Halla draws the sword that imprisons him, Sarkis finds himself attempting to defend his new wielder against everything from bandits and roving inquisitors to her own in-laws... and the sword itself may prove to be the greatest threat of all.

About the Author
This is the name she uses when writing things for grown-ups. Her work includes multiple fairy-tale retellings and odd little stories about elves and goblins.
When she is not writing, she is probably out in the garden, trying to make eye contact with butterflies.

An excellent and enthralling adventure from cover to cover, this book is an amazing romp through a handful of fantasy tropes that continually get turned on their ear whether they like it or not. Features stalwart, but unlikely heroes, excitement in the most unexpected places and the best ox to exsist in a fantasy novel (possibly one of the only ox to exsist in fantasy stories - there aren't that many fantasy oxen, but this book definitely has a good one). Also has a fantastic cast of characters, nonbinary and otherwise, and will have you equally laughing and screaming (whether from pain or excitement is up to the reader). Definitely worth checking out at least once, if not twice or many more times just to make sure you haven't missed anything.
I have been waiting for bf ghis, and it did not disappoint! Now I'm waiting for the next one.
