While this story has been awaited, I find it rather short on pertinent content. The thoroughness of the thought processes definitely took away from a more engaging storyline. Although this IS a series, I was disappointed that there was not more "meat" overall.

A well deserved five stars, and nothing less, is what this novel is getting from me. I have awaited the release of book 7, Sworn To Vengeance, and was not disappointed in anyway. It is the perfect continuation for this amazingly enchanted and magical series. Terah Edun has created a world all her own full of magic, adventure, mystery, thrills, heartbreak, and yes love. In this installment of the Courtlight Series there are new adventures with every turn and lessons that Ciardis must learn....the hard way. There we also alliances made that are so unexpected that my mouth dropped while being completely enraptured by this come-to-life story. It was written so well that I'd swear I was reading from a history book. If you haven't read this amazing series yet, I'd say do it now....don't wait. I must give credit where it is due, job well done Terah Edun. I can't wait to see what happens next in book 8.

Absolutely fabulous!! Terah Edun just added an incredible book to an already incredible series! I absolutely love the character dynamics in this book. Without giving too much away, I will say that because this book centers around Ciardis, Thanar, and Sebastion, their companions, and their quest, this book really centers around relationships and character development. There is action and intrigue, for sure. The story is definitely engaging and fast paced. But, on top of that, my favorite part was learning more about who each individual character is, and what makes them tick. I also LOVE the developing relationship, date I say friendship, between Sebastion and Thanar. Well done!

Sworn to Vengeance is a perfect read from beginning to end. Once I started reading it, I just couldn't put it down. I love the way that Terah Edun developed the relationships between Ciardis, Sebastian, and Thanar. I'm excited to see where this twist will take the three of them in the next installment in the series. As always, Terah's writing draws you in at the beginning of the story and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

Terah Edun has done it again. In the last book we were left with a cliff hanger. The group was sitting outside the city with great perils between them and their destination. Ciardis was torn and at odds with both Sebastian and Thanar. This book picks up right where the previous one ended. On the cliff (literally). I don't want to give anything away so Ill leave the plot at that. However in this book we see our favorite characters grow even more. We have plot twists and of course lots of magic. Terah also allows us to see our characters in some new lights. In Sworn to Vengeance we see a lot of character development and really get to understand how they all tie in together a little bit better. Especially our very complicated dragon ambassador Raisa. This book is definitely worth the read and keeps you wanting more. I cannot wait for the next book in the series to be released and to see what happens next. Just be prepared to devote all your time to reading because you will not want to put it down once you start.

Terah's writing has effectively brought my imagination once again to Algardis. The triangle between Ciardis, Sebastian, and Thanar becomes even stronger as they join together to and within the dead/undead city of Kifar; the next step toward achieving what is needed to defeat the rising blotgott.

Terah hit another one out of the park. We are getting closer to the end however, it doesn't feel rushed at all. Terah has created a world that I want to live in and even with them in Kifar didn't change it. So as you know from the last story they made it to Kifar. However, as you can see from the bio of the book Sebastian is in trial. You will have to read the book to see how it turns out. The one thing that they are looking for is found with the least likely person to have it. We also see a side of Ciardis friends that we don't always see. It mostly takes places in Kifar however, not all of it is there. Make sure you read it all the way through or you will miss something interesting. A lot of little details are in Sworn to Vengeance.

Terah has done it again with another amazing story of adventure with a hint of romance as the journey to save the empire continues on for Ciardis in Sworn to Vengeance. The story picks up right where the Sworn to Ascension left off as the group continues their journey to Kifar and throughout Vengeance, Ciardis is faced with hard decisions that must be made for the good of Algardis as well as her heart.
