Symphony No. 4 in G Major for Soprano and Orchestra based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
Mahler's 4th Symphony in G Major is the easiest of the 9 Mahler Symphonies to listen to. The real good recordings of this piece are NYPO/Bernstein; Reri Grist, Soprano, VPO/Maazel; Kathleen Battle, Soprano, and BPO/Karajan; Edith Mathis, Soprano. There are 4 movements in the piece. The Soprano comes in the 4th movement. The beginning of the piece sounds like Christmas Eve music with the sweet slow melody.
