This album takes me back to the first album but with allot more aggression. Very heavy, it's NOT like one of those albums your all psyched to get, only to find out it only has one good song on it. I love the whole CD, not a bad song on it, and you can tell just by listening to it that the Korn boys put all they had into making it. The DVD with the behind the scenes footage is awesome, & the blended videos, even the scrapbook inside, all make this CD more than worth the money.

This is definetly the old school KoRn that everybody loves. Look into the mirror is a mixture of hard rythems, strong vocals and emotions everyone can relate to. This is definetly a must have....don't download it because soon u'll have no new korn cuz they won't have any money to record more..support your favorite band and go buy this album. PLEASE!!!!!

This is the best Metal/Rock CD of 2003. If you like Slipknot, Adema, or Staind, you'll absolutely love this album. After hearing this album, you'll be running to your local CD store to buy Korn's other 5 CDs.

KoRn's debut album was an emotional lyrical timeline with heavy guitar riffs and low sounding bass. The band has journeyed from very heavy album, KoRn and Life Is Peachy, to an effects/hiphop album, Follow The Leader, and then to melody in Untouchables. Take A Look In The Mirror has what you can expect in any KoRn album- Well thought out lyrics and vocals with emotinal quality; heavy guitar riffs mixed in with some melody and beats.

In their latest album, "Take A Look In The Mirror", released November 25, KoRn really delivers. The sound of the new album is full and mature, taking from the "Issues" atmosphere, but with a decidedly angrier feel. This album tops off "The Untouchables" beyond comprehension. In my opinion, while a good album, "The Untouchables" was just a fastfood album in between "Issues" and their latest and greatest. The guitars are raw and powerful in this album, and the lyrics are heartfelt. The vocals harken back to KoRn's olden days, taking a little from "Issues" and "KoRn(selftitled)". If you are a fan of KoRn, or just rock and roll in general, I highly suggest you purchase this CD.

Quite possibly KORNS best CD to date. DARK, AGGRESSIVE, deep, thought provoking, absolutely haunting! This CD is angry and demented and an absolute pleasure to listen to. If this is what self-producing a CD turnes out like, i suggest they continue along this path! BUY THE CD! You wont be able to turn it off. Five stars and two thumbs up!

this album must be the heaviest and at the same time most melodic thing being released ever. it starts off with "Right Now," a powerful 100%-Korn song, and finishes off with a cover of Metallica's "One." That really shows the span Korn operates in. buy this, you won't be let down.

Munky, Fieldy, Jonathan, Head, David. They are back, and this time, they bring with them, the good old days. The long awaited follow-up to "Untouchables"is here. "Take a Look in the Mirror" blends their old school style with their Nu-Wave experience. Old Korn fans will remember the days of "Life is Peachy" while newcomers to their music will notice a mixture of deep bass riffs, haunting vocals, and an over all brutal vibe to them. Their controversal approach to reinventing the metal/hard rock industry was widely accepted and this release is their biggest to date. Warning though, their language is uncensored and they constantly use the "F" word throughout this cd. The rundown for this cd is simple: 1.) Right Now- I'm sure you've heard this song on the radio, but in case you havn't, this is their Nu-Style they were trying to incooperate. Not the best on the cd, but good, this is a blend of the "Untouchables" and "Life is Peachy" approach. Good guitar and bass elements are present for this entire song. 8/10 2.) Break Some Off- A little too new school for me. Although I do like the bass of this song, it simply doesn't flow with the rest of the album and you constantly find Jonathan yelling, not singing. 6/10 3.) Counting on Me- Killer intro, and a more melodic sound than rock, but the blending of so makes this song pretty good. The chorus surprised me in this song, but it is a good surprise, as it is harder than the rest of the verses. 8/10 4.) Another spectacular intro piece, with flowing guitar rhythems breaking in the background, finalized with raging, yet emotional, vocals. This piece is slow compared to the rest, but is one of the best on the cd, and should not be taken lightly. 9/10 5.) Deep Inside- Harmonic sounds blend well with the leading vocals and the verses fuel the rest of the song, as the chorus isn't something to be overjoyed with. Again, somewhat slow compared to their previous releases. 7/10 6.) Did My Time- The driving force in this song is the guitars in the intro, and their presence throughout the song. This is the harder, more widely know Korn back in action, with the echo effect ripping off in the chorus and the heavy beat enclosed. 9/10 7.) Everything I've Known- Very smooth take, not choppy or broken. The song has a consistant beat to it, reinforced with the savage lyrics. Top notch new Korn has made it's presence known and enjoyed in this song. 9/10 8.) Play Me- A little wierd that NAS is in this song, but it is still good. Blending the hard beats with a unique splash of rap to carry it on. It's not as bad as I thought it would be, considering that these combo of the 2 is actually quite devastating. Good mix. 8/10 9.) Alive- Wow, simply amazing. I felt like Jon was singing this song for me, this song is full of raw emotion, inspiration and power. You can actually hear the pain in his voice as they remaster their technique. Very uplifting for anyone. I can't describe it anymore. 10/10 10.) Let's Do This Now- Bagpipes cue the intro! (Yes the pipes are back!) This song is actually straight foreward. Not to interesting, not to flowing, not to Kornish, not their best. Only thing that makes the song bearable is the guitars and drums. That's about it. 6/10 11.) I'm Done- They again deliver that hardcore, in-your-face sound they are known for. Cue the aggressive guitars, ready the fierce bass, and power the vocals. Very smooth song, great presence of mind and very good sounds. No complaints here. 10/10 12.) Ya'll Want a Single- A hilarious, and heavy state of mind throughout the song. Nice catchy chorus with guitars paving the road ahead. Jon's voice makes the whole song's atmosphere very energetic. 10/10 13.) Very guitar focused song, with a mysterious vibe to it. It's actually probly one of the more emotional driven songs on the album. The background bass sets a somber mood, and the drums create a "hopeless

Take A Look In The Mirror... absolutley rocks! I recommend it to anyone who loves KoRn, or appreciates great metal. They combine their older aggression and loud antics with their sound today, and it sounds perfect! And don't forget about the Bonus DVD and the Hidden track at the very end of the CD....

This album blew my mind away! Not to mention that I am a Korn fan. Like previous people had said it is all FIVE albums mixed together but FU__EN HARDER! Take a Look in the Mirror is more than I expected. The album is more harder than others that Korn had created... I think the other albums are good too it is just Take a Look in the Mirror is what I wanted! I cannot wait to hear Korn perform these songs live! If I was you I would buy this album and add it to your collection! Trust me you will like it, if you like KORN! The Bonus DVD is awesome because it shows you some f__ed up video of RIGHT NOW not the Animation but some other one plus you get to see some Untouchables tour action. KORN JUST FU___CKEN ROCKS!

I picked up the Korn cod Saturday, I have yet to put it down. From a musical stand point I believe that TALITM has defiantly shown as long as Korn has been around there is defiantly room to move on to adapt. I believe that Korn has done an amazing job on this album. Lets talk about Fieldy, after listening to the cd I have noticed that his bass has to be tones so low and loose for that string to hit the fret and make that noise. Which is awesome, not only for the sound he gets from it, but Korn can pull that off with ease. Now lets talk about Jonathan Davis, he has shown massive improvement. He goes from high pitches to his usual semi-screaming to hard barking like its nothing. His addition of screaming shows that Jonathan Davis has more up his sleeve than he let us all know. Another aspect that I liked was the NAS song. Not for the fact that its rap, but for the fact that I think it shown Korn is ok with diversity in music. I think this might help the feud between rap and rock just a little bit. As for the sound of CD, the sound was a little darker than I have seen Korn like to use. I as well believe that the direction that they are moving, for example the song Everything I’ve Known, is showing a little more technical side of Korn is coming out. More triplets are being used and placement of riffs along with the drum riffs and singing are placed masterfully. Overall I believe that if you are a Korn fan and you liked Untouchables than you are going to like this. The switch from Issues to Untouchables was a little drastic, but this CD ties it all in. Very good CD.
