Breathing Books.... that is what I would love to do 24/7. And I live for those books that will let me breath. How can it be that I did not read any book of this author before ? Honestly I am shocked and I will remedy this situation ASAP. After reading the Blurb I knew ... ME and THIS book ? There would only be two possible outcomes - 5 Stars or a real mess. I was as usual hoping for the best and expecting the worst. BUT what I got ... OMG.... I am sitting here struggeling to find the words to write this while I am still feeling the aftermath of everything - as I just finished reading 5 minutes ago - I never once questioned the world that Nashoda created around her characters. It may be paranormal but it was belivable from the first page. Which is a rare case, as normaly the reader needs a certain time to come into the flow of a new world when starting a new series. This world is near enough to the one we are living in and just far enough to make it fantasic. My emotions felt as raw as if I was experiencing things alongside the characters. And strangely I never even wept, even when everything looked hopeless and my heart was struggeling with evey beat, which also shows that I was fully in the story and trying to be as strong as the leads were. It was such a wonderful change to other storys that both, Max and Jasper were so good together. It never felt as if one of those strong and stubborn personalities would have to surrender to the other, even if it was exactly what they did . The development of their emotions felt real and I could almost taste the desire they felt for each other. It left me breathless at times. I was not able to put the book down and had to finish it in one session. And I can only say : "Give me a brush so I can paint the 5 Stars for this awesome book golden" > > > I have received this Book as an ARC from the Publisher < < < > > > In Exchange I promised an honest Review < < <

Oh my goodness, this series does not disappoint. Just when i think ive found my favorite book in the series, i move on to the next book and its BETTER. The characters, chemistry, hot love scenes, and action are off the charts fantastic. I didnt connect with jasper or max in the brief glimpes i had in prior books, but boy did i connect with them from page one of this book. Definitely a must read, can't put down amazing book. Now WHERE is xamiens story, im hoping it will be written and published soon as i think it will be just as good as this entire series has been.

I've really been enjoying this series. I bought all the books and read them in a few days! I love how intense they are and I loved all the characters. I hope you continue this series and I'd love to read all the other Scars stories. If they could be a bit longer, that would be great. Nashoda Rose a new favorite!

As with every other book that I have read from this author, I thought it was incredible, suspenseful and most definitely sexy! Take was full of awesomeness. To start with, there was a glossary which told of the different supes, their ability..... It explained a great deal and helped to get me ready for the story. The story started out with a bang and kept my rapt attention throughout. If you like paranormal book, you are bound to LOVE this one! I can't wait to read the next book. I received an ecopy in exchange for my honest opinion.

5 Sunshiny Stars!   I was super excited when I seen that Nashoda Rose wrote a new book. I was even more excited to see that it's PNR. I'm a big fan of hers and I love PNR books!  Let me tell you that Take a new series entitled Scars of the Wraiths was not a disappointment. I devoured this book in one sitting. I could not put it down once I started. It grabbed a hold of me at the very beginning and I just couldn't stop reading it until I was finished.  Jasper is a take what he wants kind of guy. He doesn't care about anything but his job and the pay out he gets when's it's done. He's a ruthless killer and a Scar Sounder. (Scar Sounders: Able to detect high frequencies from long distances.) His past has made him who he is today. He has no feelings and makes sure everyone around him knows this. That is until Max becomes his job. He's hired to protect her or kill her.  Max is also a Scar. A Scar Healer. (Scar Healers: Females with the capability to heal other Scars and humans. In rare instances, capable of healing animals and other entities. Able to envision the injury and heal the wound from the inside out. Experiences the pain of the injury.) Max has been hiding from someone evil. This evil person took everything from her when she was 10. He held her prisoner for 6 years. When she finally escaped she was left with many scars and was a shell of her old self. Healers can't heal themselves.  When Jasper first meets Max he instantly knows that this woman has put up a shield to hide herself from others. He wants to crack this shield.  He wants to see a smile on her face. Max never smiles. Jasper watches her for six months. Never letting her know that he is around. Max can feel him but never sees him. She can smell him but thinks it's just her mind playing tricks. Neither understand their feelings toward each other.  When these two are thrown together with a quickness the sparks ignite.  The banter between these two was never ending. Jasper would be so insulting one minute and the next he would be sitting next to her helping her calm down after a nightmare. But one thing was sure Jasper wanted Max and made sure she knew it.  When these two finally come together the smoke detectors started blaring! Max never made it easy on him. She could put up a fight like no one else.  When the enemy gets closer Jasper has to come to terms with what he needs to do. He will not let this evil man sink his hands back into Max.  “You’re the stars that burn away the darkness, Max. That’s what it feels like when I’m with you. Like I’m all lit up inside with brilliant specks of light. And when I touch you, it’s like I’ve grabbed one out of the sky and I’m holding it in my hand. Flawless. Bright. And beautiful.” Will Jasper do what he's paid to do? Protect her? Kill her? I recommend that you read this and find out! You will not be disappointed:) I can't wait for more! Awesome job Nashoda Rose! Another winning series you have started here! ***ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review via Netgalley. Thank you so much!!***

I read a lot, its my outlet and break from real life. I can typically knock out a few books a week. However, lately I've been struggling to find a single book that holds my interest and I find myself going sometimes a week or more without finding a book I can lose myself in. So frustrating!! I have been reading this genre for years and sometimes feel like I've already read all the good ones and all the new books coming out are just boring and repetitive. Well, that changed with this book. I was intrigued and captivated from the start. The glossary of terms in the beginning intrigued me with a new spin on the paranormal/fantasy world that I've sadly become bored with. I was captivated with the story from page 1 and could not put it down. I love being able to read a story from different point of views and this did not disappoint. The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is because I wish it had been a little longer and had more substance to Max and Jasper and their lives during the 6 months prior to him showing up and them going on the run. That aside, I love this book and can't wait for more. Im so thankful that Ive found a new book and author thats sparked my love for this genre back to life. So.......When is the next release????? Lol, I read that too fast and Im book lonely again!

I am just meeting Nashoda Rose and I will be buying more.  I love the idea of having sense based powers. I think the writing make it easy to suspend believability.  I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Max and Jasper and those they come in contact with throughout the story.  I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was terrific. It is not the typical genre that I read; however, I love the author's 'Tear Asunder' and 'Unyielding' series, so I decided to take a chance on this book. I am looking forward to the next book in this series just as much as her other series. This is the first book of a new series, but it is a standalone novel with a HEA.

Wow, I just finished.reading Take and had to leave a review. I have to say that I absolutely loved it. What a great story and the characters really blew.me away. I can't wait to read the.prequals and am really hoping that you expand on the characters of Guise and Holden, as well as give updates on Max and Jasper. I always love your books, definitely.one of.my favorite authors and this book is another example of why.

I give Take 4.5 stars!! I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of the paranormal genre. Of course, there are a few exceptions. And Nashoda Rose is one of them. She caught my eye with her Tear Asunder Series and she has not let me down yet! This was a great read! The author does a great job of explaining the different terms she uses for her characters and their society. There's action, mystery, suspense, and, of course, romance. A closed and pissed off Max and an egotistical Jasper make for a great combo. The bickering is off the charts hilarious as Jasper tries to bring down Max's stubborn walls. But she's a fighter until the end. Literally. It just so happens that along the way, her walls start to crumble. And for the better. I can't wait to see what Nashoda has in store with the next book in this series. *I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*

Nashoda Rose’s Take is a little out of my normal reading genre. Jumping into it, I felt a bit intimidated – especially when it started with the glossary of terms that I had no connection to. Honestly, I read Take simply because I love Nashoda Rose’s other books. I am a huge fan and I hoped that she had written another incredible story. I was not disappointed. This book’s plot is layered in deception and secrets; lust and passion – it’s addictive. Spellbinding. I thought Take was amazing and I devoured Max and Jasper’s romance in one sitting. The two main characters could not be any more different. Jasper is a hunter – an assassin, while Max is a healer. But it does not matter. They connect and the pull they feel for one another drags them together. As a reader, you experience their story – feeling their emotions, whether it be fear, heartache or desire. Nashoda does a great job of connecting you to Max and Jasper. As each page of Jasper and Max’s story unfolds you discover another truth and piece of their world. Take moves at a fast pace and each moment is intense. I loved every moment. It’s truly a captivating read. I thought it was a great start to the new series and I am already looking forward to more.

The intensity of this story really drew me in, the characters are excellent and I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen next. Jasper is one sexy alpha and Max, after experiencing so much, still carried on. I loved the interaction between these two. I love it when a story draws you in and you feel like you have been transported to another place in time. This book did that for me. Excellent Read.
