Tales of the Everyday Workingman (and Woman) by kimanzi constable

For ten years I worked at a job I absolutely hated, everyday all I could think about was quitting. Every day as I went to this job I thought I could put in my 40 hours and when I was done with work I could forget about it, I was wrong. Even though the job paid well, it wasn’t enough; it wasn’t my passion and had no purpose.

When you spend so much of your week at a place that makes you miserable it will creep into every area of your life. I wanted to quit so bad but I didn’t know what I wanted to do or what I was even qualified to do. I didn’t have a college degree; I didn’t have any special training, so I thought I was stuck.

This book is about that job and other jobs and my journey to get away from those jobs and find work that I truly love. It talks about how to find or create work that is your passion and that benefits every other area of your life. It talks about a lot of the struggles we deal with every day in our work and some tips to get through those struggles.

The beauty of this book is that it’s written from the everyday working person’s perspective. I’m not some guy sitting in an office somewhere writing a book, I deliver bread at 2 a.m. and dream about something better, this is my journey to something better. Have you started your journey to your dream work? If not this book will help, if you have no clue where to start, this book will help. If I can do it so can you!

Iwould be happy to drive a truck and have a good job but this guy wrote a whole book just to whine about it. He had a shot at setting himself up with a good business but he spent too much money and got in trouble with taxes and everything but mostly he admits that he lies to everybody and does a crappy job. this book isn't about how he fixed everything and became successful so why would anybody want to take advice from this dude? His website is just a lot of selling now

Mr Constable's book "Tales Of The Everyday Workingman" is powerful and uplifting! What makes it so powerful is the fact that we can relate...well anyone who wants to get ahead in life can at least. Sitting in a position in life where you're barely getting by whether financially or emotionally can be frustrating to say the least. Kimanzi Constable teaches you how to break your chains of mediocrity and branch out to accomplish whatever you want out of life!

Tales of the Everyday Workingman (and Woman) by Kimanzi Constable is refreshingly honest and funny. It’s a fast read that could change your life. We all want to live our dreams, but we don’t all have the courage to pursue them. Kimanzi gives the reader a look at the steps he has taken to follow his dream along with explaining mistakes he made along the way.

A lot of book that talk about work talk above our heads. This book is written from the voice of an average worker, someone who knows what we go through everyday. It talks about things that affect us and some ways to deal with those struggles. It's a great book if you are a job that might not be right for you. I'd buy it again!
