Overview

Zeek is born on an island where a crocodile name Duke held court. The croc ate Zeek's monkey tribe and terrorized the neighborhood. After a near-mishap when Zeek's mom almost got eaten, but lost her tail, Zeek devised a plan to eliminate their tormentor. Witty, fast-thinking, and highly resourceful, Zeek was able to route the crocodile. Then came the humans and Zeek was again challenged. This tale chronicles the adventures of Zeek the monkey as he led his tribe from a harassed troop to a happy-go-lucky bunch.

Miss Gerri as she has come to be known over the years hales from a small southern town in Missouri called Kenneth. As a young adult, Miss Gerri arrived at San Diego where she studied art, music and writing at the City College. She has a keen interest in writing children's stories, poetry, musical lyrics, singing, painting and working with children and seniors. She now resides in Houston Texas with her husband, one daughter and two sons.
