Matilda Dupree has loved her brother's best friend for most of her life, but he's never seen her as anything but a tomboy who tagged along behind him...or so she thinks.
Can Ned convince her that he does in fact see her as a woman and wants to settle down with her for all time?
When he plays poker with her father and wins her family's ranch he thinks he's found a way to win her, but he forgot one thing...Matilda Dupree isn't predictable. Can he cool her temper and warm her blood without her turning on him once and for all??
This is a novella...only 16,341 words. It is short and sweet and very mild. There are no racy love scenes, but it does contain mild language. I hope you enjoy it!

About the Author
I am a former teacher from North Georgia who loves writing! I am now a full time writer along with being wife and mother, which really equals three full time jobs, but it keeps me on my toes. I never know what sort of story will build in my head until I sit down to type it all out. I am often surprised by the twists and turns my characters take and often find myself reaching for a tissue and asking myself "why did it have to happen." I love writing and the freedom it gives me to be a hands on mom. I can spend my free time with those who matter most and that is my ultimate happiness. I love my crazy life and couldn't be happier with the way it has all worked out! Please visit me at www.amandaandersonbooks.com
