VERY dissapointed! 3.99 for 84 pages? You have to be kidding me. Wasn't impressed with the story either. Thought from the reviews, it would be better. Would not reccomend.

Was not a good read, didn't even finish it. Who are these people who give it more than 1 star? Waste of money and time

This review is one of the hardest reviews I have had to write. I am a huge fan of J. S. Cooper’s books. I love her work, her characters, and the worlds she creates for them. Her books are always entertaining, romantic, and well written. It is with a heavy heart that I write this review. Taming My Prince Charming by J. S. Cooper is the sequel to Finding My Prince Charming. I was looking forward to this release because of the cliffhanger in the first book. I was also hoping that I could connect with these characters this go round and become more invested in their story. I was also under the impression that this was the conclusion to their story. But this was not the case. Taming My Prince Charming was just another installment into the ongoing story and ended with another cliffhanger. But this time around I think this cliffhanger left a bad taste among some readers. Taming My Prince Charming picks up where Finding My Prince Charming left off. Xavier has taken Lola to Romerius under the pretense of a royal engagement. We are under the impression that he did this to protect Lola from the media. But why would this protect her when a royal engagement would cause even more sensation. Once they are in Romerius it becomes clear that Xavier has an agenda. What that agenda is never really explained or hinted at. Is it revenge? Is it a power play? Who is his revenge directed at and why? The only person that suffered throughout this book was Lola. She was subjected to some pretty ugly situations where she had no clue how to react. She was kept in the dark. Xavier not only has used her for his own sexual pleasures, he is exposing and exploiting her in a perverse world in which she does not belong. Lola’s character changed quite a bit in this book. She went from being a strong, intelligent, independent young woman to becoming a submissive doormat. She gave Xavier some sass at times but let him walk all over her when her inner self was screaming to run in the other direction. The Lola from the first book would have been on a plane back to London without any second thoughts. The plot in Taming My Prince Charming changed drastically from Finding My Prince Charming. Readers were expecting Lola to be introduced into the world of royality. We were expecting the conflict to come from that world. The royal world barely came into play. The readers were briefly introduced to the royal family. They did not get any information about the country of Romerius, the traditions, the politics, and their part in the world. The plot took on a new direction focusing on “The Club”. It was unclear what exactly this club is in the whole scheme of things. It is obvious The Club is for royals to act out on their sexual perversities and indiscretions. And why would they label these acts of indiscretions as a Ball? I felt like the plot was jumbled and not on a clear direction. I also felt that the author was borrowing from other plots from her previous books. The Club is clearly one of those things. Add a woman from Xavier’s past, another handsome prince with an agenda of his own, another prince that cheats on his wife, a young cousin that on the surface seems innocent, a disapproving mother, and a brother rushing home for unknown reasons and the reader finds their heads spinning. I felt like the characters were not fully developed. We never get a true sense of who Xavier is. We get glimpses into his thoughts but they are not clear or followed through. He does not really come across as a Crown Prince. He has no concerns for his nationality, his countrymen, or his role in their lives. We never understand his attraction to Lola other than wanting to screw her. He abuses her innocence, insults her integrity, and treats her like a cheap whore most of the time. He is never tender with her. Why would she be attracted to a man who treats her so badly. Lola’s character did a one eighty flop that just disappointed me. As for all of the secondary characters I got a sense of who they were but just a small bit. I know their names but am not sure how they really fit into the story. Taming My Prince Charming was not a royal romance. I really don’t know what it was. I feel adding the word romance is somewhat of a farce as far as this book is concerned. There really wasn’t romance in this book. The character interaction, the build up of sexual chemistry, and the dialogue that leads to a romantic love story was missing. It was more of a few sexual interludes that had no tenderness or true fire behind them. Taming My Prince Charming should have been titled Lola and The Big Bad Wolf. I will read the next book in this series because of Lola and Lola alone. She was left in a horrific situation that has my gut clenching. I am hoping she comes through this ordeal a stronger woman and gives Xavier the FU and gets out of the palace. Keeping My Prince Charming will be out in November 2014.

Taming My Prince Charming was so good. Xavier and Lola make one heck of a hot couple. Xavier is still a bit rude and arrogant and all Alpha. Lola is naive and to trusting. She has gotten a bit more of a backbone but when it comes to Xavier and his sexual prowess she doesn't stand a chance. Xavier introduces Lola to his lifestyle in more ways than one.  I am starting to like Xavier a lot more in this book. I love how JS Cooper gives us both their views in the book. You get to see a more vulnerable side to Xavier and Lola. This does end with a cliffhanger and that always sucks. But after reading book 1 I couldn't wait to read this one. Happily awaiting book 3.

Xavier... Xavier... Xavier... tsk, tsk, what have you gotten yourself into this time? Our favorite Prince/Professor is back and boy does he have his Prince act down! The man knows what he wants even if he has trouble admitting it to anyone..including himself! Don't get me wrong I love every... inch ... of him ;) His Sexy smirks, Princely attitude, and yet deep down heart that he doesn't want anyone knowing he has.  There are so many twists and turns in Taming My Prince Charming that my head is still spinning in  the best of ways as only JS Cooper can do!  I love how much Lola stands up to him and yet they can't resist each other.  The tension these two have around each other is so thick you can feel it as if you were right their with them! I went through the emotional ringer along with Lola and am left with a slight itch to beg for more!  I also want to scream at a few characters... but can't say much more without revealing everything! I am in shock and awe and anticipation waiting for the next one!! I am so excited to be getting one more book!!!!    ~Katrina

I like j.s. Coopers other books but am disappointed that she went the route of a continuing series.  I read the fist free one and thought it would end after the 2nd book.  Now there is a 3rd.  Quite frankly I'm not sure I'm going to order them.

Hot! First off let me set the record straight hat yes on the Nook book it looks like onlly 85 pages, but it only changes page numbers every 3 to 4 pages. If you look at the paperback version it is actually 218 pages. In this book Lola and Xavier are in Romerius. Xavier is definitely an alpha throughout this book, while Lola still appears naive. What is Xaviers end game and real reason for bringing Lola home? This book is very sexy with hot sex scenes, still not entirely sure I like Xavier but he shows hints of being a good guy that keeps me reading. Hope the next book answers all my questions and hope thst Lola and Xavier find thdir HEA!

Blast it all to Hades and back. WTH??? I am slowly walking to the cliff now while reading the book. Now I have to stand at the edge of the rocky cliff with the ocean below pounding the rocks until the next bloody book. UGHHHHHH this isn't happening. There were plenty of times  I wanted to smack Xavier myself for being careless with Lola especially when he takes her to that club Plot was well written. Characters development through out the story has the perfect dynamics. J.S. Cooper has an excellent way of writing her books.

4 Feathers!! You already know how much I love J.S.Cooper's books by now, but I was a little dissapointed with this new installment in the Finding My Prince Charming. Don't get me wrong, I'll still read the next one and after the cliffhanger ending of this book, I can't wait for it! But one of the reason was that I wished to find out more about the Prince Kingdoom.. I mean, think about it... if you were wisked away in a contry of your boyfriend, wouldn't you want to find out more about it, about her traditions, about his relation with his citizens, or about the politics? I'm not a person who loves political debates, seriously I'm not, guys! But... yes, I would love it even if we find out more about his family relation with their citizens, or about his family...but, the good part is the fact that we focus more on his relationship with Lola... Even if it's not really a relationship because our favorite Prince is very stuborn and still insist that he can have his way with her for a while to get her out of his system. Ha! If that's even possible with their attraction... but he's trying... Lola doesn't know about his agenda so she's really excited to be with him in his country, in his home... As we get to know his family, we find out nothing is as it seems, even more than that some members of his family have their own dark secrets.... It's still all about sex and denial, still hot and cold, because Xavier wants to protect her from himself and his dark needs while Lola just wants him! We find out out how dark are his needs when he takes her to this club, where a world of passion and hot sex are revealed to Lola, but we also see Xavier approach about his feeling and his needs, because he sure wouldn't put them both words in the same sentence! Another reason for my dissapointment was Lola... I expected her several times during this book to make her baggage and go back to Londra... I mean... I love Xavier though tick and thin, but he's still such a jerk, so some of his antics would not have been  valued by old Lola, even more she would have so kicked him in the shins while letting him have a piece of her mind... But... she';s falling for him and her feelings have changed her somewhat, so I kind of understand why she had this submissive vibe with him. He also changed a little, but like a I said it's hard to face everything when your world is turned upside down by your student... Final Decision: Sometimes you're faced with  decisions hard to make. Some of us take the easy way and give everything they have, consequences be damned. Others run from them and hide behind mask of indifference. But how do you know that you've made the good choice?  You don't. You'll just have to face them sooner or later, even if you don't like it.

What a great series!! I have been hooked since the first line of the first book! I love the emotion in the book! I love the fact that the second book picks up where the first book ended! As much as you want to hate Xavier you can't you fall in love with him and I love watching the relationship between him and Lola evolve! JS Cooper has done it again with another great series! If you haven't read Finding my prince charming you have to read it before you read this one! You will truly enjoy this book  and you will wish you were Lola! I hope Xavier can get to Lola in time! Can't wait till October for the third book!!!

I absolutely loved this book! I will say there were times when I thought Xavier was a jerk and other times not. I haven't exactly figured him out yet which is good! I love Lola. She's said things that made me laugh out loud! I was at the edge of me seat towards the end and when it came I was left with my jaw on the floor! I cannot wait for Keeping My Prince Charming! Well done!

OMG, how could she do this to me?!! J.S. Cooper, you are just evil!! ***IMPORTANT NOTE: Must read Finding My Prince Charming first!*** Lola arrives in Romerius with Xavier under the false pretense of being engaged. One week, nothing more. But as they spend more time together, they both realize that there may be more than just sexual chemistry between them. TMPC picks up where FMPC left off and includes Xavier’s POV as well. I LOVED TMPC!! There was so much more depth in this second installment. Xavier is still the rude, arrogant alpha male, but I love him so much more now because we got to see his sensitive and vulnerable side. He introduces Lola to his world, and even though it got overwhelming at times, I loved that she was strong enough to follow her heart and stay by his side. The chemistry between Xavier and Lola is hotter than ever! And when they are together, it’s obvious how much they loved and cared for one another, even though they themselves have not realized it yet. Xavier has a secret agenda. Faking an engagement and bringing Lola to Romerius was part of his plan for...revenge?? Is it a vendetta against Violeta? Against Casper? Or against someone else? I need Keeping My Prince Charming now! I can't wait to find out what happens.
