Love her books and characters. She makes you feel everything they feel. Like you are living their story. Can't wait for more!
Taming the Beat is the first book in Mel Favreaux's Guardians series, which is a companion to her Walker's Run series. I loved that I got to see characters that I knew from the Run, but also met lots of new characters, too. The characters are well developed and engaging, and the story was gripping and edge-of-your seat. I didn't want to put it down, and now I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment!
