This is a compilation of three delightful short novellas. Each story is a western theme with fiery woman that are taken in hand. The men are respectful yet firm with the women they claim. I enjoyed each of these sweet and tender stories.

This is a compilation of three short novellas.  They are all very well written, and I give this compilation 5 stars! Finding Samantha by Dort Wesley This is a wonderful little novella.  Samantha is Sam Prescott, someone who helps people find their loved ones. JT Zane has lost his little half sister, Julie.  She ran away because she was in love with a boy that was no good for her and JT wouldn’t let her see him. JT hires Sam sight unseen and is surprised to find that she is a woman.  They leave together to find Julie and fall in love along the way.  But, true love does not come easily and they have to fight for their love! Tucker’s Frustration by Joannie Kay Laurie and Carolyn decide to pull a prank on some of the older boys in the town.  They hid in the graveyard with sheets over them.  Unfortunately, they scared elderly Mrs. Stafford. When they are found out, Tucker, Laurie’s uncle and Sheriff of the town and David, Carolyn’s fiancée and the deputy of the town decide to spank them together.  Then Laurie is told that she needs to get a job.  Of course, Mrs. Stafford is embarrassed to be found screaming about ghosts, so she sends for her son, Johnathan and he comes into town and spanks Laurie for scaring his mother, not knowing that she had already been punished.  This leads to them falling in love. Meanwhile, Carolyn finds out that Dave will spank her when she needs it and Carolyn sees that he is strong enough to take care of her.  Tucker is also in love with Victoria, but she is the owner of a saloon and he does not court painted women!  These three couples have more trials and tribulations, but there are HEAs for all of them! Upholding the Law by Laurell Joseph Mackenzie is the owner of a ranch and a widow.  JC is a federal marshal investigating the cattle rustling going on in the area.  Of course, he is undercover and Mackenzie rescues him from a lynch mob.  While he recovers from the severe beating he got, the two of them fall in love.  Eventually, JT tracks down the rustler, but he has to punish Mackenzie to get her to stay home and out of the way.

A delight to read. All 3 stories are of a bygone era where the relationships stay sweet and innocent until marriage. I enjoyed them. Finding Samantha: How I liked JT and Sam. I really enjoyed their sparring. It was fun and lighthearted with plenty of action. JT was protective but not over the top. Sam was a capable and caring woman. Her only flaw was not owning up to her mistake as a 15 yr old. Tucker's Frustration: Though the antics of Tucker's niece and her best friend Carolyn were entertaining and fun to read I especially liked Tucker and Victoria. Their sparring was fun and the love for each other at the end was sweet, tender and romantic. Upholding the Law: with JC and MAC was a short but fun, lighthearted, sweet romance with lots of action.

These were great stories! All full of suspense, they were hard to put down. The first one, "Finding Samantha", was the longest, and probably my favorite. The second one, "Tucker's Frustration", included 3 different relationships. The final story, "Upholding the Law" is about a widow who saves a marshal's from being lynched, and they fall in love. I would love to see sequels to any of these stories!

Three Westerns With Three Authors Three historical westerns, three authors, but more than three fiery women!  4½ stars total The first story is 50% of the book, second story 30% and last story 20%. In Finding Samantha by Dort Wesley you get a mystery that is finally solved. Sam Prescott works as a detective, finding missing persons, bank robbers, and embezzlers, or whatever job needs to be done. But Sam is keeping a big secret from the family.  In Tucker's Frustration by Joannie Kay, you get three feisty women, three exasperated  men and lots of angst. With Upholding the Law by Laurel Joseph, we have a spitfire widow and an undercover lawman dealing with rustlers.   In each story, the men must take this women in hand with over the knee spankings.  There is plenty of spankings in each story but no sex.

K. Tyler: These stories were mild and sweet. I like that the men were respectful but firm. The women were feisty but chaste. Their relationships weren't taken to the intimate level until marriage. Each story proved to be a enjoyable read and fast moving.

4 ½ - 5 stars I loved these three stories.  They are all hot tempered women who deserve to be taken in hand.    All three stories show that their men love them and want to keep them safe.  There is no graphic sex in any of the three.  They maintain their innocence until after marriage. The women were spanked  with belt, hand and spoon.  Nothing severe, but fun none the less.  It was a great read.
