I really enjoyed reading this book. This book is a quick read. It is a sweet romance around Casey who moves hoping to leave the past behind. But the past always has a way of sneaking up on us. Thad is one of those swoon worthy book boyfriends we all love.. The only thing that I didn't like is that the little miscommunication thing that Casey believed, well that it took that long to resolve. But on the other hand dragging it out made the book. I look forward to reading more from Satcy Eaton in this series. Overall this is a fun, quick read that will put a smile on your face.

STORY LINE TANGLED IN TINSEL (The Celebration Series Book 1): Tangled in Tinsel, by Stacy Eaton is an exciting intense romance novel. After a crisis, Casey is running from her past and starting her life over. With her friend, Brandy's support, they head up North in her BMW leaving all she knew behind her. Acquiring a job as the local ER supervisor, Casey is ready to start a new phrase of her life. Buying a house in need of many repairs, Casey's next door neighbor, Thad Wagner, fits the handyman bill. Not only is he handy with repairs, he is handsome, hunky, and seethes sex appeal. In addition, he carry's a big gun; Thad is a law enforcement officer. The intense immediate attraction runs both ways. She has her very own hero right next door. However, there is a huge problem, Casey has no intention of becoming involved with a married man who is also the father of a 5-year-old son, Tommy. However, these two just can not stay away from each other. Casey does her best to fight her inner desires. While Thad's determined to break down those walls. Come along with Casey, Thad and the town of Celebration in the first book of this new series by author Stacy Eaton. My romance novel review of Tangled in Tinsel follows. CHARACTERS, PLOTTING, AND DEVELOPMENT: First of all, I must say, the readers of this novel, will find it filled to the brim with hilarity, misunderstandings, and misconstrued motives as well as intense longing. Tangled In Tinsel will entertain the reader from the first paragraphs as Ms. Eaton sets the hook and grabs you. Secondly, this romance novel contains mystery and secrets which Ms. Eaton slowly reveals at just the right pace. Moreover, the twists and turns in Tangled In Tinsel, will keep the reader glued to the book. Ms. Eaton included surprise plot twists which will keep you on the edge of your seat. Although hints appear throughout the story, I did not put the pieces together. I found Ms. Eaton format informative as I saw the prospective of each person in his own chapter. This added much to my enjoyment. Furthermore, Ms. Eaton created well-developed characters in Thad and Casey. Casey is strong in her convictions and desires. She is a fighter who will not go down easily. Along with secondary characters skillfully development, Ms. Eaton threw in the village residents as well. The inclusion of 5-year-old rambunctious Tommy was wonderful. Needless to say, I cracked up at the remarks which popped out of his mouth. Although a typical boy, he was very precocious and a wonderful addition to the cast of characters. Finally, in conclusion, I found this novel a very enjoyable read with well-developed characters and a story-line which was intriguing. Tangled In Tinsel has light love scenes, which I did not find offensive or graphic. Therefore I would not hesitate to buy this book for myself or a friend. TANGLED IN TINSEL RECOMMENDATION: STARS 4 As the first book in the series, Ms. Eaton created an excellent beginning. I look forward to seeing more of the town and characters in the next books. Due to love scenes, I recommend this book for young adults and adults. Finally please note: I received this book from the author and chose to review the novel with an honest romance novel review. Book reviews of any novel are dependent on the book review author’s opinion. Consequently all book reviews on-line and on my blog, are my opinion. This romance novel review was not influenced by the ARC.

Casey moved north so she could get away from her old life. She moved in next door to a very good looking man and he has a family. She is through with men like that. Thad is so attracted to Casey, but she keeps sending him mixed signals. He could see she was interested, but she pushed him away. When she finally finds out that he isn't married and that his sister and nephew are staying with him, they both think things will change. Then Casey's past shows up on her doorstep. Will Thad figure it out in time to help her?

First, I love Stacy Eaton’s books and this one is another one that is great. This little one had me from page one to the very end. It’s a great story about Casey Lowe leaving her luxury life and moving to a small town, buying a fixer up house and starting a new job. Along the way she meets a handsome police officer who can’t stop thinking of her and doesn’t understand why she keeps pushing him away. The story goes on with her trying to fix her home while trying to deny her inner feelings for sexy officer Thad. It doesn’t matter if it the holiday season or not this is a great book to read. As with all of Ms. Eaton’s books, there is suspense, laughter, love and characters that are real. She pulls you in right away and you don’t want to put the book down. I was given this book for an honest review and here it is. I enjoyed every page and wanted more.

Casey moves to a new town in order to get a fresh start. She is looking forward to doing repairs and upgrades to her home and starting her new job as a RN in the town's local ER. Almost immediately she notices her neighbor. He is an officer with the local police department and he's definitely taken notice of his new neighbor also. Helping Casey do odd jobs around her house gives Thad the opening he needs to spend more alone time with her,but he's finding it difficult keeping his hands off of her which seems to be what Casey wants anyway. When Casey's past catches up with her and she finds herself in danger the only one that she trusts to help her is Thad. Now Thad needs to figure it all out so that he, Casey and his family can have a very Merry Christmas. I was given an ARC for an honest review. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

I've never been disappointed by a Stacy Eaton book, and Tangled in Tinsel is no exception. As with all of Stacy Eaton's books, Tangled in Tinsel is written in alternating first person point of view. I really like how the author will sometimes back track when she changes POVs to enable the reader to see how the OTHER character was feeling when a scene was unfolding. It really helps draw you in and keep you engaged with the story. There are so many fun misunderstandings in this story that really make it fun to watch unfold. I couldn't wait to find out Corrine's relationship with Thad, and really thought it was fun to see how they interpreted Casey and Brandy's relationship at the beginning. As with most of Stacy Eaton's book, there is a suspenseful aspect to the book as well. It's a mystery why Casey has picked up and left her old life behind to move to this small Northern town. And its also suspicious why she went from living in the lap of luxury to barely scraping by. All of these questions are answered and the danger is heightened as an unexpected and unwelcome visitor comes to town. And at just the right time to delay Thad's coming to Casey's rescue when she needs him. But in the end, love prevails, all the questions are answered, and Thad and Casey find their way to each other. Tangled in Tinsel is the first book in a series of novellas due to release in 2016 in the Celebration series and I look forward to each one of them!
