Another Great Book by Annie Seaton I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated in any way. Anastasia Delaney is one of three women who love to restore things. Blake Buchanan has a business meeting with Ana. They also share a past history together. And then a family emergency adds some spice into the mix. And that is the moment that Annie had me hooked. Our author knows just the right combination to create her scene-stealers and they’ll have you smiling too – and maybe a chuckle or two. I can almost imagine what Ana is feeling – this shows what a good author Annie is. She knows how to engage her readers so that they feel as if they are a part of the scenes. You can feel her happiness and her disappointment. Ana is the perfect woman for a stuffed-shirt businessman like Blake. She can put him in his place and he’s not too old that he can learn to change his ways. By adding in a niece and some nephews was a perfect way to change Blake’s attitude. This is another great book from Annie and if you’ve never read her work, why not start with this one.

Sigh. That's how I feel after reading Annie Seaton's "Tangling with the CEO". Anastasia is a hard working woman with a strong sense of community responsibility and lofty ideals, and comes head to head with Blake, the profit making driven CEO of a company that can turn her world upside down. They first met in College, and after years apart find themselves dealing with each other in their professional lives. What I love about this story is that neither character is perfect, they don't just swoon into each others arms. Life just gets in the way sometimes, and that can be a good thing. I really enjoyed this story.

Blake and Ana had slept together once, ten years ago, before Ana had to leave abruptly to go and care for her dying mother.  Who knew they would meet again 10 years later.  Blake as the CEO that's buying the company that Ana works for.  Will she be able to convince him that keeping her home renovation department open is good for the community or will the profit margin be more important to the CEO? This book was a fun and light hearted weekend read.  The relationship between Blake and Ana was well written with some true-to-life problems.  I loved the addition of Blake's nieces and nephews.  They definitely brought a real life feel to this story.  Annie Seaton writes some amazing contemporary romance and I look forward to reading more from the Half Moon Bay series.

This is my first read by Annie Seaton and I absolutely enjoyed it. For once, I read about a woman who isn't just going all out and looking pretty. Instead she is in her dusty overalls and dirty fingernails and in love with a man who sees her for herself. I love that they have a second chance with those strong feelings they had for each other years ago and there was build up in their relationship. I love Blake's nephews too and how they brought the other side of Blake which Ana wouldn't have seen.  Definitely sweet and heartwarming to see two persons with different personalities and values come together. Blake, a businessman who is all about dollars & cents and Ana, who is also a businessman but compassionate and giving. I swoon at the part when Blake climbed up the roof of Aldo's house. Can't wait to read the rest of this series, hoping for at least a trilogy if not more.

When I read a book by a new to me author I'm hoping for the feels. Some reason to go back for more. Annie Seaton certainly provides the feels in this wonderful reunion story. Anastasia Delaney and Blake Buchanan were college roommates. They were opposites with an undeniable attraction. When they gave in to that attraction and Ana left giving no explanation, she wasn't expecting to need his help years later. Those differences are still there. Ana is still feisty and impetuous and Blake likes his life ordered and chaos free. When chaos finds him in the form of adorable children, complete with pets, Blake and Ana quickly realise that they need each other! Annie Seaton's characterization is perfect. You root for Blake and Ana throughout as their relationship is so captivating. Ana's friend's add the humour and the interaction with the children is heart tugging. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The author tangles not only with the CEO, but with children, animals and emotional drama and draws it together to form one sweet, heart warming package. More Annie Seaton please! *ARC provided in return for an honest review*

(really, 3 1/2 stars) This was an enjoyable read, and a promising start to a new series. I like that the Bliss line is one I can share with my 14-year-old without having to worry about her learning too much too soon :) What I liked about this book:  - The premise of the novel--I love the hero/heroine with a past, especially when that past involved a mystery/misunderstanding - Blake's niece and nephews (and their dog)--what a fun group! They made for a nice ice-breaker to ease Blake and Ana into a relationship again - The elderly people of Nebitton--I can see them contributing a lot to future novels in the series - The setting. A nice blend of San Francisco and small-town California, neither of which I've been to, but they sure sound like fun - Very sweet ending :) Things that made me go hmmmmmmmm: - Conflict felt a bit contrived at times--the hero and heroine (heroine especially) seemed to go out of their way to manufacture and/or extend their difficulties. Ana's refusal to listen to Blake toward the end really rubbed me the wrong way - Does anyone in the US call a yard a "garden"? I've noticed this a few times lately, but it's always been non-US writers doing it...it's not a huge deal, obviously, but it still gives me pause. I'm always picturing the characters actually in a garden; in this book I was hoping the twins weren't going to trample any tomato plants as they ran around... ;) Overall this was an enjoyable read in a series I'm hoping to read more of in the future. Georgie and Sienna definitely need their own HEAs. Hopefully Jack will feature in there as well.... I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!

Anastasia Delaney and Blake Buchanan have known each other since they were room mates in college. They have different business philosophies. They didn't agree then and they don't agree now. They lost contact when Ana left school after her mother was diagnosed with cancer. Now Blake is involved in the takeover of the hardware store where Ana and her two best friends run a restoration department. She goes to see him about his plans, but he has a family emergency. Now Ana is helping him take care of 5 children, a dog, 2 kittens and a fish. Their closeness makes Ana and Blake realize that the attraction is still there. Can they rekindle the spark? This story is a tender, heartwarming romance. All of the characters tug at your heartstrings and give you a warm, fuzzy feeling. The banter between Ana and Blake makes you laugh. All 5 of the children are adorable. This is a feel good story. Annie Seaton writes with style and humor. I love Tangling with the CEO. It's a keeper.

How often our actions in the past determine our future, well in this charmingly written story of Anastasia or Ana to her friends, and Blake, we see how this can happen, ten years ago they knew each other and then Ana had to suddenly leave no time for explanations, now she appears again and Blake is affected as he was ten years ago. But they have to work through misunderstandings, conflicting viewpoints and of course having five children suddenly thrown upon them. This is a delightful and sweet story that will charm you with its characters not only Ana and Blake but every single person we meet is finely drawn and by the end of the story you feel that you have many new friends. There is of course a HEA which I personally like. I received a free copy as a gift

Anastasia and Blake meet in college. She had to leave to take care of her mother. So ten years later she shows up on his door step. His sister shows up leaves the 5 kides with him and she helps him out for a couple of days. But not get a chance to tell him way she was there. They are going to take her job away and she wanted to see if she could try and keep it. Very good book. I enjoyed very much.

I do love a good story that centers around California, after all it's my home state. I do love when I find things that pertain to California and know that you can't really find them anywhere, but there. For instance in the story, you have Olallieberries. Honestly, like the heroine in the story, I'm not a big fan of the berries. For those who don't know what they are, they are they kind of look like a blackberry, but they have a different taste. Anyway, I should really talk about Tangling with the CEO by Annie Seaton. We have Blake Buchanan and Anastasia Delaney (Ana) who knew each back in college. Both of them had the hots for one another, but too afraid to act on the feelings. Blake was the landlord and Ana the tenant, and if they had come together it would complicate the landlord/tenant relationship. Well, they finally have a night together, but the next day Ana was gone. So, for 10 years Blake had thought he crossed the line and scared Ana away. While that was further than the truth, but Ana didn't leave any note to let him know. Now Blake and Ana are going to meet again after all these years and Ana will try to convince Blake to keep her department when his company takes over the store she works at. Oh dear, and their past might jeopardize Ana's job.  These two were a lot of fun to read. Both of them had different ideology towards business, which can complicate any situation. While Ana is more about finding what is best for the community than big business, she tends to sacrifice herself for others. While Blake will do things that will benefit the company. However, when he goes out to California and learns about the area the corporation wants to takeover, he realizes that it's not always about business. At the same time he would like to try again with Ana, because he feels that there is something there.  The joys of butting heads and trying to find love at the same. As I said that these two characters were fun to read. The chemistry between them didn't die all those years ago, now the challenge is to meet eye to eye. Both of them can be pretty stubborn. So, if you are looking for a fun clean read, you might try Tangling with the CEO. Copy provided by publisher

3 1/2 Stars - This is the first of the Entangled Bliss line for me. I didn't quite realise until I arrived at the end and realised we never entered the bedroom except to get changed and put on perfume. This is a sweet story with a vague reunion flavour. Ten years ago Ana and Blake had a moment when they shared a house while she was in college. She left immediately to look after her ill mother and they lost touch. Now Blake is back and he has the hardware store in Nebbiton: Half Moon Bay, in his sights for his employer who has a large chain of generic Home and Hardware stores across the U.S. Like they did ten years ago, Ana and Blake immediately struck sparks off each other and not just the physical kind. Ana is a community minded handywoman with a messy, hippy vibe while Blake is all about the corporate and everything neat and tidy. Of course the best thing about opposites attracting is how much they learn from each other and this happens with Ana and Blake as he learns about her community and she struggles with the reality of trying to make a business profitable. The extended cast of characters are sweet and quirky in equal measure. Blake has nieces and nephews and Ana has two BFFs and a town full of old friends and neighbours. Overall this was an enjoyable read with plenty to keep you interested to the very end.

When I first saw this pop up on NetGalley, I was really excited to read this! I love the idea of falling in love with a sexy CEO! With that in mind, while I really liked the idea behind Tangling with the CEO, the novel fell a little short for me. I don't know if it's because I don't read a whole lot of adult romances or what, but they seem to lack some of the steam and angst I crave from new adult. The storyline was sweet and I liked Ana and Blake for the most part, but this wasn't one that really left a lasting impression. Ana and Blake were once roommates in college and after one sexy night and the promise of great things to come, Ana up and walked out of Blake's life without a trace. She has her reasons for doing so, though I felt she should have at least explained to the guy the situation at hand instead of just walking away from the greatest night of your life. Blake is hurt by this, and while he has never forgotten Ana, he has moved on to be very successful at his job. These two are thrown back together after years of separation and you can tell there is definitely still attraction between them. However, both Blake and Ana are really frustrating when it comes to working things out. They are horrible at communicating with one another and feelings get hurt on more than one occasion due to this. I appreciate that Ana is a strong, independent woman and she cares greatly about her small business. She doesn't want Blake to come in and take over a good service they provide to locals- she wants to prove to him that there is a lot of good going on in their small town. Blake's position definitely alters upon visiting Half Moon Bay and I'm glad he made the business decisions he did. I did like Blake's nieces and nephews. They definitely livened up the story and it was really sweet to see him interact and worry over them. Overall, while this was a cute read, it just didn't do much for me. I liked Blake and Ana, but I didn't feel invested in them. They were just kind of there in the story and I could have used more development. I also felt the writing style was a bit simplistic at times and just didn't flow quite as fluidly as I would have liked. However, a lot of others really enjoyed this one- so don't let me deter you from checking this one out just because it didn't really work for me.

A Sweet Romantic Read! Blake Buchanan ran a boarding house during his college days. One of his boarders and fellow college students was Anastasia Delaney. He never understood why Ana disappeared suddenly and without leaving an explanation years ago after they'd enjoyed one night of bliss together. He has moved on to being a CEO of a large chain of Home Improvement stores but he has never forgotten Ana. After losing her Mom, Ana has found her niche in life working for a small home improvement store as part of a close knit 3-women construction crew in a small town. When the crew learns that a large chain will be taking over their store and that they will lose their jobs in the takeover, Ana takes on the task of appealing their case with the new owner and runs headlong into a slew of complications. A Sweet Romantic Read! 3.75 Stars!

Blake and Anastasia get together again under different circumstances and after many years of separation. After much to and fro, some perseverance and great lines, love of course conquers all. What a brilliant book and storyline. I just love Annie Seaton's book and this one definitely does not disappoint, a highly recommended read.

Happy release day Annie Seaton!  Tangling with the CEO immediately thrusts you into the very different lives of Ana and Blake. After 10 years of unanswered questions and no contact, these two are brought back together when their work lives collide. Even though it’s been a decade since these two have seen each other, their chemistry is stronger than ever, making it difficult for them to speak to one another without feeling the love they have for one another. In this wonderfully, romantic story, love for family and community is seen throughout the lives that Ana and Blake live. They have their differences, their arguments, but more importantly, they have their love for each other and their families and community. I admire both characters and their willingness to set aside their differences to help one another. This book just goes to show that love conquers all. This is my first book by Annie Seaton and it won’t be my last. I love how realistic her characters are and they really pull the reader into their lives with the turn of each page.

Just finished reading this and I loved it! This is a great story to read on a blustery day with a great ending. I love Annie Seaton's writing style. It is easy to read with enough details to paint a mental picture but not cumbersome with unnecessary details. Her characters are very real and her story line is always fun. Glad I read this book.

I fell in love with Blake and Ana. College roommates who fast forward 10 years. They could not see eye to eye then and still can not, and now he might even be her boss. This book is about a second chance of love. Loved both of their love for family. Highly recommend this book.

4.5 stars In Tangling with the CEO, Blake Buchanan and Anastasia Delaney get the opportunity to reconnect after 10 years. The problem, 10 years ago Ana left without word to Blake, and now, without even knowing it, Blake will be taking over the little hometown hardware store Ana runs her restoration business from. Despite their differences in opinion regarding business practices, a connection had always been simmering between them and it is fun to see how they reconnect. This book was such a fun, quick read. I always enjoy stories about second chances at love. Both characters in this book are so likeable. Ana, with her kindhearted nature and loyalty to those she cares for, is easy to cheer for. And Blake, well his good looks could be enough to make a girl swoon, but it was the care for his family that will truly warm you to him. An unexpected highlight of this book is the supporting cast. Ana's childhood friends are supportive and funny. The local townspeople are just delightful. But what I totally loved is the detail with which Seaton describes Blake's nephews and niece. You really get a feel for their personalities and you won't be able to help yourself from falling in love with that little crew. Tangling with the CEO is a sweet story that you can easily finish in one night. It will give you that warm, fuzzy feeling you just need sometimes. I read this book thinking of it as a stand alone novel, but I am wondering if Seaton is going to continue this as a Half Moon Bay series. If so, it would definitely go on my TBR list. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this story. It is a sweet and gentle story of a small town charitable woman and the man she last saw 10 years ago in college. He's a high powered business exec who is trying to bring big business to her beloved town. Though they are vastly different sparks fly. This story is funny and touching and it's a great read I recommend to everyone.
