Tapestry Revisited: A Tribute to Carole King based on 0 ratings. 2 reviews.
The highlights of this album had to be 'I Feel The Earth Move' and 'You Got A Friend'. I particularly appreciated the creative R&B arrangement on 'I Feel The Earth Move' by Eternal -- the choir arrangement at the end of the song was also a fresh twist that any music fan would like. The noteworthy 'You've Got A Friend' was performed by BeBe & CeCe Winans and Aretha Franklin -- yes, the Queen of Soul herself! The rendition was thoroughly captivating. Bee Gee's take on 'Will You Love Me Tomorrow' was touching and brought back very fond memories for me. 'So Far Away', 'It's Too Late' and 'Where You Lead' all had very true reflections of the originals. And lastly, 'A Natural Woman' was given a distinctive diva treatment with Celine Dion giving a powerful delivery.
This is a great album! The songs are all timeless classics, and the featured artists are wonderful! I absolutely love Amy Grant's "It's Too Late" and Rod Stewart's "So Far Away". Those are my favorite tracks. Wonderful tribute to Carol King!
