About the Author

I live in a small Arkansas town with my dear husband of thirty- eight years. My husband and I love to camp. We live in the center of four beautiful lakes and each are within twenty-five miles from our home. There's nothing more peaceful than watching a beautiful sunset's reflection glimmer off the lake's water. We're also into antique cars. My husband restored a 1936 Chevy pickup and a 1955 Chevy car. Both were rust buckets when he began. We go to antique car shows when we have the time. I love writing Mystery Novels. I've been writing for about twelve years, now. I'm currently working on my second novel in the TARA series.

MEET NYPD DETECTIVES WOODS AND DOBBS ... NYPD Detectives Tara Woods and Matt Dobbs are searching for a killer. Two businessmen have been brutally murdered and there are many suspects ... wives, ex-wives, wives-to-be, girlfriends both past and present. This book takes me back to older mysteries written.... a time before CSI and lots of forensic solutions. These cops take to the street, interview anybody and everybody who may have some information regarding the murders and put the pieces together to solve the puzzle. This is a fairly short book, but the author did a terrific job drawing me in and making me a part of the investigation. I loved the dynamics between the detectives. Nothing sexually going on between them .... but lots of eyebrow-raising remarks and humor between them. I gave it 3 stars, but its closer to a 3.5. I enjoyed the book, it was a quick read and it left me wanting for a little bit more. I may try one of the other "Tara" books by this author. Thank you to the author who so kindly furnished a book in exchange for an honest review.
