Around us there have always been two worlds. The world we live in and the hidden world of magic. That's how George liked it. For a 150 years he'd lived in the Tredegar town clock without worry or bother. But an accident hundreds of miles away puts pay to his peace and quiet. Suddenly he's plunged into a world full of Zombie civil servants, Vampire dentists and enough rules and regulations to drive any warlock crazy. And that's just the start. When a plea for help comes from an unlikely source, George finds himself back in a game he didn't know he was playing. Along the way he meets some old friends, makes some new friends and does battle with the mysterious MIT or Men in Taupe. As he bounces from valley to valley, it becomes clear that accidents don't just happen and revenge can be an act of attrition. Thank goodness for tea. Oh and did I mention the Dragon.
