I bought the book without the CD, which was ok since most of the exercises that need the CD are not important. The exercises are very good for learning the words and the vocabulary is organized well by topic. However, many dialogues are bad since they include words that are not listed, not learned or not in the dictionary which is extremely frustrating if you don't own a dictionary and some grammar in the dialogue is not covered so you have to go over and over them again if you can even make out what they say. The dictionary included is weird since there are extra marks above words and some words in the lessons are not listed. Other than that, it is very good and packed with culture information and photos.
