Excellent book. Clear, concise directions and photos. The only thing I would change about this book (and the Teach Yourself Visually Knitting) would be the binding. If I want to have the directions open in front of me while working on a project, I need to weigh down or clamp the pages open so the book doesn't close up. A binding where it would allow the book to lie flat would be PERFECT! For anyone who wants to learn, or those that need a refresher - this is the book!

Great instructions with illustrations for learning basic stitches and variations. I have referred back to this book numerous times. After many frustrating attempts to turn a sock heel with directions from other references, picked it up right away from pattern in here. I now keep my Nook with my crochet supplies.

This is the best book out there to learn how to do the varrious sitches. I've had mine for about three years now and when ever I come across at stich I'm not sure about I just pull out this book and find what I'm looking for and follow the clear instructions and photos till I get it right. A must have for any crochetter.
