About the Author

Lola M. Schaefer was a classroom teacher for 18 years, teaching kindergarten through seventh grade. She now serves as an educational consultant in Indiana, working in area schools with teachers and students on writing. She also provides staff development workshops and is an accomplished children's book author, with 125 books to her credit.
