Book title and author: Teammates, Peter Golenbock Title of review: Teammates review Number of stars (1 to 5): 5 Introduction I never liked reading but this book kept me reading I didn¿t want to put it down. This is a fantastic book because it will teach you a lot about the Negro Leagues. It will teach you how the world of baseball got started. Description and summary of main points This book is about the negro baseball league. The manager of the Brooklyn dodgers was looking for a star player in the Negro league who was able to compete successfully. Rickey thought Jackie Robinson might be the man. Jackie got on a train and went Brooklyn. Evaluation I liked the book teammates because baseball is my favorite sport. Conclusion The book teammates is a really short book and it is a really fast read for everybody and if you like baseball this would be your book. Your final review I would give this book 5stars because it talks about how the negro league got started.

I was shocked at the begining of the story because I think was very unfair the way he was treat because it does't matter the way we look outside, but the the way we are inside that count and when he was playing how hard and alone he must feeling, everybody screamed hateful things at him. He was brave!
