TMNT's get a new lease on comic book life with the help of co-creator Kevin Eastman. There are some changes to origins of some characters but they're not jarring. For those new to the property its a non-issue. The story weaves back and forth in time and is done well. The art is "sketchy" but not in a bad way. My issues with this were they pacing. The story moved very fast and would have been better suited for more characterization. The characters that we've grown to love don't get enough individual time to shine but maybe that will come in subsequent books. Overall, a good opener to hopefully an even better series.

Aww...Raph just needs some love. Anyway, it is an awesome story. I'm definitely gonna continue reading these.
