Great book. Good story. Laughed out loud several times.5++ stars.

There is only one reason a book gets a 5 star review, and that is the distinction of being read over and over again. These two stories are amazing! I will read them forever. One thing Klune does particularly well…He puts his characters in mortifyingly embarrassing situations. And I get so flustered that I have to put the book down to regroup…then I’m back it. The sequel, The Queen & The Homo Jock King is just as marvelous as this book. I recommend both!

A stand alone book but the characters appear in Book 3 "The Art of Breathing" in the Bear, Otter and Kid series. This is a very enjoyable, humorous love story. I am definitely a TJ Klune fan!! It was great to see a follow-up on the characters in Book 3 because I was not expecting it. However, you really have to read all the books in the Bear Series, you can't just read Book 3, and it has more angst and drama than this book. Since I LOVED the series, I plan to read Books 1, 2, this one, then Book 3 again. Eventually there will be a Book 4 in the series and I can't wait!!

This was a great read and one of my new favorite re-reads. I too await NOT PATIENTLY for the next BOATK book. This writer has a way of making you fall in love with the characters and wish they were your besties too!

While I was awaiting my 3rd installment for OBATK I'd thought this was it... soooo NOT!! And so I kept putting it off, thinking "WhatTheHello"?? And so I googled and read some reviews and thought WTH!!! And so I bought and read... the one scene that got to me (and I don't care what the author or the licensed critique says) was when Paul envisioned himself running down in a penal fit pissing himself 'round Vinnie staking his property!!!! lol.. now's there's a man whom felt confident and in love claiming ownership (if only in his jealous fitted boxers)!! While the dinner scene @ WHO WE ARE claims so much more in the novel and it's predeccesor... I fully love my "fav" scene from TMIR!! hehehehhh!! Although I was disappointed... you SURELY distracted me Mr. Klune!! Good one... now just hurry up and get me my Drew and the Kid story!! Now there's a title.. DATK!!

Paul isn't the buff, stand-up guy he wishes he was, donuts and a basic desire to be a couch potato get in his way. Vince is sexy and buff, but not the brightest bulb in the pack. The relationship between these two odd lovers are tied together with parental authorities and a cross-dressing trans-diva known as Helena Handbasket, Paul's oldest and dearest friend. Can two such unlikely people find happiness and a fore-ever after relationship together? It's worth reading to find out.

I really liked the 2 Bear and Otter books (and am still hoping for another), but this book was one of the best I have EVER read, and I have about 1000 books on my Nook. The story was fantastic, the characters realistic and very likeable, but most importantly, it was embarassingly laugh out loud hysterically funny. I woke my husband up laughing after midnight and scared my kids -- you can't hold in the laughter! I often had tears rolling down my cheeks. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
