About the Author

Norman Greenhawk was born and raised in Cordova, Maryland.He was the first person ever in his family to graduate from college, earning a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Washington College in 2003.In 2008, Norman sold most of his belongings to chase his dream of becoming a herpetologist in the tropics.He now lives in Puerto Rico, and when he isn't catching lizards and frogs in the rain forest, he travels, writes, and enjoys laid-back evenings with friends.His most recent adventure was learning to catch, relocate, and monitor endangered crocodiles in Belize.
