Whew. I just finished it and I was sagging in relief as the happy couple kissed and made up. Did I give away the ending? It was so long in tension, though!!! I really enjoyed the interaction among the family members and between the couple... It's very long though!!! Too long.

Loved Portia and the way Bryght fell in love with her cheerful disposition rather than just her simple beauty. Felt the love they held for each other and enjoyed the family loyalties. LORRAINE

This was a great book. It has lots of twists and turns, mystery, and of course love.

This book is okay, the plot's not so bad and Bryght is fine, but Jo Beverley made the heroine Portia another 'plain Jane' and I'm wondering why nearly all IF not all her heroines border on ugly while the hero's are over-the-top with perfect looks?
