About the Author

Jeannie Hudson grew up on a Wyoming ranch where her rapport with animals was nourished. She began writing in high school, writing a student column for the local newspaper. She became editor of her college paper and began selling short stories to national magazines. After college, she married and began writing full-time, selling five suspense novels and obtaining an agent during the 70s. When her beloved agent died in the mid-80s and she divorced her husband, she moved to take a job in
MN where she continued writing. By 2005, she had returned west with her new husband and now lives in the Black Hills of SD. Her tenth novel was published this year.
