**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review Leah had a father who had just been hit by a car and died in Singapore, so she had to go sort his stuff, arrange his funeral and see his lawyer. She had a flatmate named Aimee. Toran James was Leah's first lover and heartbreak. When her dad found out about them, he whisked her away to boarding school in the UK. She was 14 at the time. 12 years later, Aimee had sent Toran a friend request. When Leah went to shut her laptop down, she saw he had accepted and wanted to have a drink with her the next night. She had already re-connected with her best friend in Singapore, Julia. Shen called Julia after meeting with Toran, talked to her about meeting with him, but Julia told her it wasn't possible because he had been killed the day before from an explosion. Leah was a caring woman, but she was also scared of being hurt again. Toran was a true man: Brave, Loyal, Strong and Smart. He also refused to let go of something once he decided to do it. I truly loved this mystery/romance. I loved the twists and turns. I'd advise anyone who likes a good mystery with a side of romance to try it.

RED STRING OF FATE I have enjoyed the journey of Toran James and Leah Fisher and watching them come full circle. This 14 year journey they have traveled has been paved with heartache, disappointment, deceit, betrayal, but also with friends, memories and young love.   This story kept me on the edge of my seat in suspense as the mystery of murder, blackmail, lies and cover-ups are revealed.  Sometimes learning the truth doesn't give you the peace you are looking for.  The truth is not always as simple as black and white, and finding out that what you were told all your life wasn't the exact truth but the reason makes sense.  This final story finishes opening Pandora's box in this mystery. David Fisher wasn't the monster Leah suspected, he was a broken man who just didn't know how to show his love to his daughter. Absolving the deaths of Toran's parents won't bring them back either.  Learning that someone you loved and called a friend had changed is heartbreaking.  Can true love win in the end but at what cost?

Unlock the past she did! What a path to the truth.. Leah is running for her life again with lots of action, off and on romance, secrets they wanted to know but would have wished them to be as they remembered them to be, there was  suspense,  mystery and just the right amount of romance. I'm just sorry this is the end of this series.  I was gifted a copy of Tender Betrayal by the author for my honest opinion which I have given.

TENDER BETRAYAL (Romantic Suspense Mystery), The TENDER Series ~ Book 3, H.Y. Hanna Genre: Mystery and Thrillers, Romance Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews I loved the first two books in this series, and at the end of the last one we found Leah discovering something in her dad’s letters that really could put a wedge between her and Torn – well, that’s what she fears anyway and that’s why she tries to find out more before she tells him about it. I love Leah and Toran, its a fabulous romance between two people who’ve been kept apart and have now reconnected. Its still early days for them and they’re feeling their way cautiously. They don’t yet know enough to be sure how the other would react, so I can see in a way why Leah wanted to wait, she’s fearful it will prove too much for Toran. Secrets come out though – always just when you don’t need them to and Toran is horrified, more from the fact she kept this from him knowing how much he was searching for the truth than from the actual facts. Its a really sad time, where Leah fears they’re lost and Toran wants a few days apart. She carries on searching for info, thinks maybe she can make it up to him that way, and anyway she’s so distraught at being apart she has to do something. It brings her into real danger though – possibly risking her life, and from a very unexpected source. I loved this book. as with the earlier ones it has a great feeling of being in Singapore, and there’s a real local flavour comes out in the writing, as if its a place the author knows well. The suspense too is perfect for me. I used to read thrillers a lot but now enjoy a lighter type, where I can follow the story easily, and just sit back and enjoy the ride instead of wondering all the while – who, what, where , when why? Its like old films v new ones. I can enjoy old ones, but so many new ones jump from place to place, person to person and I’ve only just got to grips with one part and we’re off onto something else – I’m just lost in the story and not in a good way Winking smile Toran – he’s just great and so in love with Leah but I can see why he was so upset, that would be most people’s reaction. He could have copied IMO if she’d told him, it was the keeping it from him that’s so devastating. Leah is lovely, so in love, so desperate not to rock things and that's why she makes a wrong move – she doesn’t want to shatter the tentative start of their beautiful romance. When the dasnger hits it feels so real, and I was carried along with the characters. Stars: Five, a really fun suspense and romance ARC provided by Netgalley and publishers.
