An aging gentleman rancher, his wayward daughter, an up and coming trainer...all with dreams of gold and their hopes hinged on one extraordinary Quarter Horse colt...

Wrong again - the story of Cassie Roberts' life. Once a golden rodeo queen, Cassie left Texas at eighteen, followed the wrong boy to all the wrong places, and ended up a single mother on the East Coast. Terrified of hometown humiliation and her father's disappointment, Cassie seeks solace in glitzy beach nightlife and wealthy eligible bachelors.

Until "the call." Some crazy nonsense about Reining becoming an Olympic sport, and her dad's home-raised Quarter Horse foal destined for greatness. Hampered by impending back surgery, Marvin Roberts begs his daughter's help to run the ranch.

Unable to refuse, Cassie gathers her suitcase and her son, Sam, and faces her worst fear - going home. When she meets her father's horse trainer, Chase Eversoll, an "aw shucks" cowboy who looks like George Strait, Cassie wonders if she dares to start over. If she dares to dream again. If she can reconcile with the father she disappointed and win the heart of the only man she's ever loved.A little red stallion might just prove the key to it all.

Maybe all Cassie needs...maybe all three of them just need...a little faith and healing TEXAS REIN.

A delightful, spunky story with a few twists and turns tossed in. Well-done.

Good story and covers a few years of their lives. Learned more about horses and those working with them. Not as good a Christian influence as I would like to see in the over all book.

I enjoyed this book. I would consider this a little on the christian romance side. It had a good story line and characters. It made me feel uplifted afterwards.

I thought it was a great story. I enjoy reading a book that has a story and not all sex trash. I was so into the horse thing that I looked up Reining horses on internet and watch some on U-Tub, it was amazing. They way they slide and sit, they way they spin and they way they always look like they don't have a care in the world. They just hang their heads like they are half asleep. The dressage horses always hold their heads so high and proper. I really enjoyed the store even more after watching the U-Tubs. Will good story can't wait for Tropic Rein.

Best story line, character development, and emotional involvement ever! Loved learning about reining horses. Just enough spice in the couple's relationship to make it real and exciting. Will definitely look for more in this series!

Good story. The ending may be predictable, but it still makes you feel good.
