Beloved knitwear designer Connie Chang Chinchio debuts a brand-new collection of 20 knitwear designs showcasing texture
Textured Stitches brings Connie's trademark combination of simple knitting with lovely patterned stitches to 20 brand-new flattering, wearable projects. A wide variety of knit garments are featured, including cardigans, gloves, pullovers, jackets, hats, scarves, and more. The patterns are fun to knit, mixing quick and easy stockinette stitch with more involved stitch patterns like lattice, knitted pleats, cables, twisted stitches, and ribbing. The textured stitches help create a tailored knitted fit, while classic stockinette lends drape and polished finish. Knitters of all skill levels will love the must-have, truly wearable appeal of these perfect-for-everyday garments.
You'll also learn how textured stitches affect gauge, how yarn choices influence the look of patterned stitches, how to approach shaping, and how to incorporate special cast-on and bind-off techniques. The result is a wardrobe full of stylish and smart knitted sweaters, tanks, tees, and accessories that you'll love to make and wear. Add Textured Stitches to your knitting collection today!

As a knitter of over 30 years, what a wonderful treat to find such a lovely book of patterns. I have many books in my knitting library, but this is the first and only one where I can say with confidence that given time, I would love to knit every single item in the book! All of them are just my style ethic... feminine, interesting without being overdone or ruined with a lot of unnecessary details, and all made with wonderful yarns that won't be difficult to find or outrageously expensive. I have bought patternsfor a coupleof Ms. Chinciao's cardigans online having always liked and admired her work, but this book of her patterns is just perfect!
Beautiful book with many wonderful projects
