Overview

A series of unfortunate events land our hero Barney in a Kafkaesque criminal justice system. While in jail multiple unsolved murders occur in town. Barney, with his inside-the-jailhouse knowledge of inmates and the local cops, along with the help of his sister Alanna, good friend Tim and his old high school teacher Mr. Garrison, helps put the pieces together of a criminal enterprise that leads directly to the Governor's mansion.
Adding to the fun is Barney's alcoholic pro bono attorney Paul and Paul's legal partner Linda, who becomes smitten with Barney.

About the Author

Gary McAuley is a writer and musician. He wrote and directed the film The Further Adventures of the Po'Boys and wrote the stage musical Vampire Virgins From Venus.

He has released two albums of original music (Tales From The Jordan Valley Jail and My Heart's On Sale) and has written two books, The Hero's Journey and That Bedsprings Guy.
