About the Author
As a nine-year-old, I was a horse-crazy kid with an over-active imagination. When that pony I begged for didn’t appear on Christmas morning, I wrote about horses in poetry and stories. It took until I was an adult to both buy my first horse (the very unladylike Lady) and see my first book published. Since then, I’ve sold many books to traditional publishers and have indie-published several others. In addition to writing novels, I love riding my beautiful Andalusian/Morgan mare, Belle. I’m also an avid folk dancer. I live in Northern California with my husband and dance partner, Gary, and two cats—pleasingly plump Tenka and formerly feral Zak.
