About the Author

Sam McManus (1976- ) was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, and he spent the first 21 years of his life in the city of brotherly love. He has written over 50 short stories, over 200 poems, and several novels. His first novel, Detours, is available through Kindle publishing in eBook format, and as a paperback. The Absolute Contingency is his second novel. He also maintains a daily blog where he shares his thoughts and possible future novel material. While he is a writer first and foremost, he is also an English teacher, an aspiring singer, a former tennis coach, and an eclectic lover of all music. If time travel were possible, he would travel back to 1985, just to revel in its inherent irony. These days he can be found in upstate New York with his wife of 10 years, and his two young children.
