The Acropolis is the story of Connor Reinhardt: high school senior, protector, gargoyle. When he is put in charge of hybrid, Emma Chase, she is not at all what he expects. After all, demons are supposed to be evil, and hybrids are part demon. At it's core, this is a story of compassion, of coming to terms with who people are, who they REALLY are not who we expect them to be. Once again, R.K. Ryals has woven an interesting tale that captivates the imagination. The characters and setting are brought to life with vivid descriptions and solid dialogue.

Never thought I'd like this book as much as I did. Great story, and hilarious characters, can't wait to get next book. R. K Ryals is an AMAZING author. Have read almost all of her books!!

This is the first book and very good. I've never liked this genre but I was impressed. Only complaint is that the author should tell prospective reader that reading the redemption series first would be better. This is like a spin off of that one. It is a series so you have to decide if you want to continue. Always read reviewes, then deside for yourself. Some reviews are worthless!!! This was a free book and worth it. I would have paid for it.

I've really enjoyed this story and I'm really wanting to go farther into what becomes of Conor and Emma. Surprised me that I would like this fantastic new world.

Imaginative & fairly intelligent: even though the characters are teenagers, it's not too syrupy or childish.
