Although it's the work of a lyrically skilled rapper, this album will be remembered more for its inventive beats than 6 Shot's lyrical prowess. The music almost seems like a ride through a comic book most of the time, like a funky city adventure. Simply put, it's hard to make a hip-hop album living in New Orleans. In an area that has Cash Money Records and No Limit Records, plus the 504 Boyz, Skull Duggery, Tec-9, and more, it's just tough to compete and not get killed trying. Fortunately, this is a quality album and should put 6 Shot on the map, at least in the South. This could probably really sell well in places like New York and California, too, with its funky, jazzy beats and catchy hooks making it a truly complete album.
