Freddie recently moved to California, where a whole new life would begin. He would live in a new neighborhood, go to a new school, and make new friends. Everything in his life was changing. Most of these changes he could handle, but he wasn't prepared for everything. He especially wasn't prepared for what getting to know a kid named Carlos would mean for his life. Together these two boys would see everyday life become a series of adventures. This is the very first in that series of adventures. Floyd Martens, along with his wife, Angela, pastor at the Evangelical Mission Church in Roblin, Manitoba, Canada. They have three daughters, Melissa, Rebecca, and Abigail. For most of his twenty years of ministry, he has been involved in children's ministry. The Adventures of Freddie and Carlos stories were written to enhance his ministry to children.
