About the Author

New York City author, educator, saxophonist, band leader and composer Marsha Heydt proudly presents her first children's book, "The Adventures of Fredi and her Lily Pad Band."

Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and raised on a farm in Berks County, Marsha earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She also holds a Master's degree in Music Education from the Aaron Copland School of Music.

Marsha is available for book readings at schools and libraries.
