I tried the sample, hoping it would be better formatted than other B&N Nook book editions.  While the format seems readable, the pictures are all upside down.  Since my purchase would be for a child who is a reluctant reader, I am hesitant to purchase the book, no matter how cheap, if she is further frustrated by having to flip the book over to see the pictures in the proper perspective.  :(
