I did NOT expect to find myself weeping over a book about an AI robot, BUT HERE WE ARE. I ended up not being able to put this book down - it's a quick, unique, intriguing read, and clearly, super emotional. Synopsis: Rachel is a brilliant, high-flying robotics scientist, who creates an AI version of herself to leave with her husband and daughter following her death. I did not anticipate this book to be so moving - but it is. It's a completely unique look at both navigating grief and understanding what makes people individual. I stayed up well into the night because I was so damn invested in the story and I had to see it through. Which led to me weeping on my couch at 12:30 last night over how beautiful the book is. Honestly, get your hands on this one.
