The Agreement (The Marcy Series #4) by Linda Burson was a okay read that was entertaining and full of drama. Going into this book I was expecting something, I don't know... more. Not that this book was bad, it was not, like the others it will well written, complex and engaging. What I mean is, I wasn't into the back and forth between Marcy and Brad. It had a similar feeling to the last book, and well there are just so many times you can build a couple up then brake them down only to rekindle their love towards the end. That was the only real problem I had with this book. The under plots, and the twist and turns will have your eyes glued to the pages. This is a continuation series, and they happen pretty cohesively after one other. So I do suggest reading them in order, just to eliminate come confusion. I'm not going to go into any more then that because I don't want to ruin the past books,.. or this one. I just want to stress that this series is good, it has this lingering darkness to it, and the writing has a way of digging it's claws into you, and refusing to let go. Please take my recommendation that you will get lost in this emotional, dramatic series. Happy Reading -E.A. Walsh

The Agreement by Linda Burson a four-star read that you will agree with. This is the forth book in the Marcy series, and I would recommend you read the first three books first, I didn’t I missed a book without realising and did feel a little lost, but I did enjoy this book so I am going to go back and re-read to catch up as I do want to see how this series goes on, I need to see how the series will go on. This is one of those books where you will be all over the place, you will love some of the characters in one breath and then want to suck the life out of them in the next, there is so much drama you won’t be able to keep up. Be warned you won’t want to put this book down, you will get to some parts and be like I just need one more chapter, but then something else happens and then you will not put it down.

The Agreement (The Marcy Series Book 4) By: Linda Burson 5 out of 5 stars The story The Agreement (The Marcy Series Book 4) by Linda Burson is a book that had me hooked from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the final page. It is the next story in a series that I have grown to love. It is a book about relationships, love, and choices. While reading about the main character of Marcy I found myself experiencing the many emotions that she is feeling. There are times of anger, sadness, confusion, and doubts. Marcy has a successful business which those who are close to her help run. She has their love and support and they are always there for her. This story picks up with Marcy and Brad settling into their life after their marriage and honeymoon. She begins to wonder about Brad. His behavior has been strange and she wonders what he is thinking and feeling towards her. Why is Brad acting distant? Has he become uninterested in her? Read this book to find out how everything turns out between Marcy and Brad. This story has parts that had me wondering why certain actions are taken and also what was going to happen or be revealed next. Many of the additional characters that you read about in this book have been brought forward from the last three stories. I enjoyed reading about many of them and how they interact with Marcy. This is a series that I would recommend reading in order as it has a storyline that continues with each book. This is a well-developed story and series that has wonderful characters. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Having not read the earlier books in this series, I went into this one a bit blind as far as what to expect. I did have some confusion about some things, but was still able to keep up with the story and was surprised at the level of emotion. On top of that, we have some intriguing characters and a story that kept me turning pages. The whole thing is very well done and drew me in completely. So much so that I will be checking out the other books in the series. And that ending! Totally didn't see that coming.
