I was looking for a food allergy cookbook that has recipes for everyday basics. This one provides that and a lot more. The recipes are easy to follow, even for a novice in the kitchen, and the author gives detailed tutorials for kitchen tasks; my favorite is on how to make an emulsion. My favorite recipes are the onion rings and the potato puffs. I also love that there is ample room for ingredient substitutions! Even if you don't have food allergies you will learn so much from this book. This is a book that I will refer to over and over again. Everyone in the family will enjoy these recipes, not just those with food allergies.
