This book is amazing! I am a personal trainer and have been working with clients for the past 10 years. This book easily explains how you can help eliminate chronic pain by simply rolling on a tennis ball. It's a quick read and the techniques actually work! I had a herniated disc in my lumbar spine a couple years ago and these techniques are the only thing that have given me relief. I spend a few minutes each morning rolling my lower back, glutes, and a couple other recommended spots from the book and 10 minutes later I am pain free and feeling great. I also use the techniques with my clients and they are amazed with the results! I highly recommend this book! Don't waste your time or money on fancy devices, expensive massage therapy sessions, or pain medication. This is less than $15 and you won't regret it!
This is hands down the best and easiest-to-understand book on back pain that I have ever read. I’ve had lower back pain for the past 4 years (due to a skiing accident) and have tried all kinds of treatment methods with mildly successful outcomes. I tried the techniques in this book and I honestly can’t believe I was actually able to get rid of my pain with a tennis ball!! The book explains clearly why most people experience back pain (as well as other pain like foot, knee, and neck pain) and then goes on to tell you exactly how to use the tennis balls (i.e, where to put them and what to do) to get rid of the problems. It also has lots of photos so you know you are doing everything right. There is also a great Q&A section as well as other non-tennis ball related information about things you can do to make sure you continue feeling good. None of the exercises take long to do, but the results are astonishing. The book definitely lives up to its name.
I was a bit skeptical at first, but after realizing the structure of the book, I understood the author’s presentation. He describes what he is about to present, then goes through the various parts of the body and what they do, then proceeds to indicate where and how which techniques need to be applied. And it works!
