About the Author

Maria A. Armstrong is an Educator, Author, Musician, Vocalist, and Christian Counselor that earned a degree in Music Education (Lambuth University Bachelor of Science in Vocal Music Education, May 1992), Freed-Hardeman University (Masters of Arts In Teaching emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction, August 1994), Liberty University (Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling May 2012), and Jacksonville Theological Seminary (PH.D. in Christian Psychology, May 1998). Dr. Armstrong has celebrated over twenty-five years of musical and educational experience.
In addition to her training and experience, Dr. Armstrong has served in numerous capacities. Throughout high school, college, and her professional career, she has served as Minister of Music for several churches in the West Tennessee areas. She has taught music both publicly and privately as well as sung professionally for both private and civic functions.
Her passion and love for teaching, Dr. Armstrong has taught from Early Childhood to Collegiate, locally, and internationally. She has served in different areas of the education field.

Dr. Maria Armstrong is the mother of three beautiful children. She resides in West Tennessee.
