About the Author

After a difficult childhood Steve developed a fascination with the nature of the supernatural, spiritual and physical words and how they affect the lives around us. This led him on a journey spanning two decades of studying, experiences and discovery. As well as demonstrating a profound respect for faith and the battles of doubt, he seamlessly mixes reality with creativity, inspired by Biblical concepts and personal understandings, constructing worlds, dimensions, events, and stories that are relatable. He is also the author of the acclaimed Elijah Hael series of novels. Steve is inspired by authors such a J.R. Tolkien (Lord of the Rings) and C. S. Lewis (Chronicles of Narnia) who mix fantasy and reality while promoting Christian values. Steve’s successful software development career allows him to juggle being an author while still creating compelling software solutions for his clients.

This is another great story by Steve Goodwin.! This is Sophia's story about how and where she grew up and the beginning of her becoming the fierce angel in Elijah Hael- The Genetic Code. Mr. Goodwin's writing gets better; his descriptions of the characters have more detail and he has included more mannerisms in his writing than his first book. This helped me get to know his characters a little more in depth in this story. I love the dynamic between Anne and Sophia. There is a lot of love and loyalty with these two characters. I really enjoyed reading about the strong bond between them and their on going adventure/journey. There are a lot of different events that occur in this story that bring it in so many different directions. I was impressed with the creativity of the story telling because I would assume the story was going to go one way and then the next event that happened brought it somewhere else completely. It was pleasantly surprising. There were so many circumstances and situations happening one right after another that I finished the book in a few days, I couldn't stop reading. I really enjoyed that the story took place in a lot of different places, the journey was lively. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to dive into an adventure!
