About the Author
Kit Laybourne is a highly successful independent producer who has worked on such television series such as MTV's Emmy-winning animation series Liquid Television and Nickelodeon's Eureeka's Castle and Gullah Gullah Island. During 1995-96 academic year, he taught the Advanced Animation Seminar at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. His full-time gig is Chief Creative Director at Oxygen, a new media company developing interactive content for the convergence of TV and computers. He is also Executive Producer of Hank the Cowdog' an animated feature film and TV series being developed by Nickelodeon.

Yes this is it. This is the BOOK. This is the animation Bible. This is the book you've been searching for. It brings out your inner talents and skills. Go get it. This book makes you wonder, ' where have I been ? ' With this book, anybody should have a shot at animation. It covers every form of animaton,... objects, clay, stop motion, motion graphics, pixelation, time lapse, kinestatis, collage, sand and paint, rotoscoping, cut out, cel, computer 3D, film and digital hardware, software, production planning, schools, resources..... the list goes on and on! The author uses a very warm and subtle tone to jolt you into realizing your capablities and dreams. Go get it.
